The male protagonist will have zero personality and be the bottom bitch in the relationship.

The GTA fanbase will finally be able to play through a relationship with a BPD hoe.

The one thing I will applaud Rockstar for is if they manage to have enough discipline to not include a single DRUMPF reference.
Never thought there'd be a day I'd rather have gtao part 3 then a new single player gta but I guarantee playing as Lucia will be almost as cringe as playing as Mary Jane in the soyderman games

Spanish criminal girl boss who outclasses her male companion? Hmm.....

Strange Man is claiming to have "finally" solved the Chilliad Mural

tl;dw; Basically it's a convoluted way to explain how to locate all of the UFOs in the game. Dave Dixon of Rockstar Leeds created it. It was his face that was on the mountain in the original release and the dick it was replaced with in re-release is a reference to his name.

So basically, what most people kind of assumed in 2013 turned out to be true even if everyone didn't "get it".

I love it when developers add convoluted easter eggs for the dedicated, even if it's for a niche audience.

It's just so...strange to me.

I guessed the whole thing had everything to do with the UFO that shows up after 100% shortly after the game launched to be honest. I think a lot of people did, but then you had the mystery people that were convinced for the longest time it was going to lead to something obtainable like a jetpack.

It's strange to see it was a lot "deeper" than I thought, but at the same time was really just about UFOs the whole time. Shit that was discovered like a month after the game came out just by people looking around the map.

I wonder if the original plan had been to add the jetpack or a quest to figure out the mt. Chilliad Mystery had been planned for some kind of DLC but the success of GTAO was so massive that it was just pushed aside.

Xbox's last hurrah will be that Series S 512gb is the cheapest way to play Grand Theft Auto VI.
Now, THIS had me thinking.

When GTA 3 came out for the PlayStation 2 as an unexpected hit, the PS2's MSRP was around $299 before Sony dropped it to $199 to compete with the Xbox & GameCube. New games back then sold for around $49.95 until the PS3/360 era upped it to $59.99 at around 2005.

So, for $199, you could buy three blockbuster games for $49.95 a piece, along with several of Rockstar's other acclaimed titles for a damn good value. Hell, probably even less than that because of the used game market and ample supply of games.

Now, GTA VI is in a precarious spot for its value proposition. PS5s and Xbox Series S|X consoles are increasing in price to around $400-600 well after launch. New video game prices are skyrocketing to $70, even $80. That's not even accounting for unfinished buggy launches, microtransactions, even monthly/yearly fees to play online.

Currently, the "cheapest" way to play GTA VI is to buy a $400 Xbox Series S and buy GTA VI from Xbox's marketplace. I'd be surprised if it'd be $70. It was cheaper to buy and play the whole 3D trilogy then, even WITH inflation, than it is NOW to potentially play GTA VI on current-gen consoles.

I feel Sony and Microsoft are banking on GTA VI to recoup SOME costs for their expensive consoles and services. I partly blame Rockstar/T2 as well for its development hell and exorbitant development costs no thanks to the runaway success of GTA Online. At the same time, I'm equally intrigued on how GTA VI would cause an effect to the gaming industry as a whole and the final product itself.

I predict a crash because of ballooning developing costs being brought to the consumers.

We'll never have another protagonist like Niko Bellic in GTA or any game for that matter. Maybe you could make an argument for Aiden Pearce from Watch Dogs. Niko is a perfect manifestation of cynicism based on his past, environment and decisions through the IV storyline. Those moments of brevity, dry sarcasm and camaraderie he expresses shows his humanity to the audience. I think IV's Liberty City was created in harmony with its protagonist, which shows in its darker atmosphere compared to previous GTAs.

GTA V is a good, but not great GTA. Time has passed since GTA V's hype and the rise of GTA Online where its flaws with its storytelling and character development start to show its cracks.

GTA IV received criticism from its basic mission design loop of drive, shoot, drive, repeat. So, V decided to diversify its mission structure through heist preps and side missions. Yoga, mopping, stealth, overwatch. It's basically filler 60% of the time to extend a weaker plot, rather overarching, separate stories.

You'd have villains like Tenpenny, Dimitri, Jerry Martinez, even Catalina be menacing forces behind the curtains where as you progress, you'd feel their rippling presence with cause and effect where your drive is to confront them once and for all. In V, you have several villains between the three: Franklin with Stretch and the Ballas, Trevor with Wei Cheng and Michael with the FIB. FIB aside, they all come and go in favor of the heists.

Replaying the canon finale, I think, who are these people? What long term effect had they created with the characters where we have to take care of it?

Come to think of it, another villain was Devin Weston and his private militia Merryweather. When Devin went after Michael's family after he botched his movie studio Ponzi scheme, what would had Michael done afterwards? The Union Depository heist happened, then somehow, Merryweather were involved. Why?

Don't get me started again on Franklin. To me, he doesn't drive the plot forward, the plot drives HIM. He's reactive; he goes along with everything thrown at him. He may as well be a sidekick to Michael, then have his personality and character fleshed out from DLC like IV's episodes.

Someone beat him to it months ago.

Somewhat related to GTA but guess how the GTAForums subhuman denizens are reacting to recent events.

Late and gay, but universetwisters has been accused of being a groomer and pederast going back a long way. I wouldn't take anything that guy says seriously.

This reminds me of some stuff i was funnily enough reading about with that korean dude PSY (Gangdam Style). He was in an interview and you could tell by his answers he was getting annoyed with how everything question seemed to relate to Gangdam Style. In the same vain i can see how irritating it is when you just wanna try and move on and people come up to you and go "do the Trevor thing lol"
Not the same though.
PSY has a considerable body of work that is popular in Eastern Asia. Steven Ogg is either Trevor or that guy who showed up for an episode of Better Call Saul.
I can see PSY get pissed at westerners who think he retired after releasing Gentleman and was a one-hit wonder when in fact he is a fairly popular act in SEA, whereas what does Ogg really have besides Trevor? Ned Luke's approach is really the best one; grift that shit until the well dries up, baby.

I wonder which of the two GTA VI protagonist voice actors will end up hating their character and GTA overall in a few years' time...

I believe Ned Luke had resigned himself to retiring from acting just before he was cast in GTA V. So it's probably a lot easier for him to just move onto the grift.

Ogg seems like the type of fag who is much more dedicated to the "art", so he probably is repulsed at having to grift for extra bucks.

And it's definitely going to be Lucias actress who ends up hating GTA overall. I'd bet money on it.

Unlikely, but I’d like Carcer City to return as an exploration area in GTA VI. Maybe a DLC or origin mission like with GTA V’s prologue.

Should I just buy a used ps5 rn before they go up in price next year when it releases? I was going to wait until the PS6 but I feel that is still a ways away.
