Remedy never planned future Max Payne titles after 2. They wanted it to be a sendoff to Max, and it's reflected in the "Late Goodbye" song. In fact Max Payne 2 wasn't planned either, but Take-Two's substantial investment and someone having an idea to make a conclusion to Max's story and clearing all the loose ends from the first game got Remedy to work on a sequel.
Best case scenario is some kind of a tie-in to Alan Wake. And that's only if it would come from 00's/early 10's Remedy. Modern Remedy is a husk and they can't make shit besides hiring Sweet Baby Inc and making some pretentious unfunny musicals that masquerade as a video game.

I would like the remakes to lead into alternate or original sequel plan territory. Plus there's 9 whole years between 2 and 3.

Only news we've gotten about GTA VI so far this week is that the PC version will be delayed and that $80 would be a sweet spot for pricing said game. I have legit zero interest in this game and I don't think I'm ready to see Lucia being cosplayed / rule34d to death after the release.

I believe Zelnick addressed that viral marketing as "awareness." The actual marketing is "momentum" or something. People are aware, that's an understatement. Now, they just need to make that money back and deliver.

While I do admit that I was incorrect in stating that there was absolutely no plans for more Max Payne games by Remedy, you didn't pay attention to the fact that those plans didn't go anywhere and had to be abandoned very soon due to T2 buying the IP, so my statement about Max Payne 2 being a sendoff to Max from Remedy and that they didn't plan anything after releasing the sequel (though they could, it's not like T2/R* wouldn't allow them) wasn't incorrect. i just recovered my GTA V install files but i hated having to re-download 90GB for the enhanced edition, no, seriously, fuck that shit.
still, i just noticed one thing, on ultra quality the game does this amazing thing of blurring shit at a distance it normally is not blurred, in which makes pvp or even heisting a problem, way to go i guess.
