In their defense, the GTA community can be quite autistic. Take a look at some comments on mainstream GTA V channels and it'll be comments about "GTA 6, R*!"

It's set in Southern California so there's a lot to see.

Unlike GTA, you have choices in combat with stealth, gun blazing, hacking or a combination of the three.

On foot traversal is much fluid than in GTA thanks to parkour.

Try it for a bit, see how you fare.

It's a pretty good time, plus it's almost a perfect replica of San Francisco.

A neighborhood or two is omitted, the scale's a bit off, and there's barely any shit & needles littering the streets.

I'm sure it would make a great community thread dissecting the autism the GTA V community brings. Who would sit through it is the real question?

I'm willing to bet half of GTA V's playerbase hasn't even played the previous GTAs. It's quite embarrassing to see GTA succumb to its own success and satirize itself.

I honestly don't understand how people can spend so much time on GTA Online still. I go through spurts where I'll play for like a month once a year and then only touch it when there is an update going on just to check it out. But honestly, I don't think I'll even play it that much going forward just cause I have like 50 million and they never release anything I really want to buy.

It sucks because the fanbase bitches and moans whenever they actually try to add a game mode through the adversary mode system.

That's why I think GTAForums is crazy for thinking they'll ever add Cops and Crooks. All the kids will just bitch and moan that its another adversary mode and never play it.

I think that's what hurt GTA Online at launch. The same missions with similar objectives where you can only buy cars, weapons and properties. After you got what you wanted, now what?

Now it's the inverse.

Too much to buy, not enough payout.
