About a week ago I wandered into a live stream on picarto and to my surprise I saw one of the guys working on GA. Lucky I was able to get in just a soon as the farms were brought up and lets just say he had nothing good to say about us at all. I had to leave a bit later but I caught something about GA not being Enters idea at all but I'm not sure exactly. Seriously the people who work on this show wreak of incompetence
proof?
who specifically?
and what did they say about us?
this seems too vague

A question I have is, do kids eat anything but sweets? I mean, no kid in the real world eats nothing but sweets. You know, they get their meat and their veggies and their fruit and all, and tons of kids enjoy it, you know? I mean, everyone likes sweets, but it's not like kids detest anything that isn't primarily sugar. And what about countries that don't grow sugarcane? Are they at an economic disadvantage because they have to import this all-important staple crop? What of America's bountiful bread basket? Is it a parking lot or something? Gosh darn, every answer just brings up more questions.
I'm pretty sure they eat nothing but sweets and junk food. All the kids think vegetables are gross, which is a really cliche way of writing kids. Enter has also said that the kids and adults suffer no ill health effects from cramming cake, candy, and soda down their throats all day, every day, because of "cartoon logic" (You know, that thing Enter is always complaining about other cartoons using). This is also because Growing Around is Enter's fantasy world. Enter eats nothing but junk food, and he says he can't stand drinking anything other than soda, so in the world of Growing Around, that's a perfectly normal diet.

You happen to get any screencaps or anything?

It wouldn't surprise me if Enter's thralls are about as oblivious as he is, honestly. Some of the people we've spoken to here have shown that they put about as much thought into GA's success as he has.

Sounds like something almost straight out of Kids Next Door.

Yeah I know its a bit vague sorry about that. I believe its the guy who does the story boarding and the music for GA. As for what they said about us well... it was something like "The farms are a bunch of mean people trying to crush my dreams of having a successful series"

I do not get why he thought it was good idea if there are all these issues with the premise. I could not stand being in school when I was younger and having to put up with that bs. If I forced to do that all my adult life I do not know what I would do. If he wanted to add an interesting twist he could have some of the adults start a revolutionary group to overthrow that regime.

Someone suggested that he do that, but he said it wasn't in his vision for the show.

I ate far more meat and potato than sweets when I was a kid, yeah.

These questions you ask, just more facets of the reality that the economy of CWCville (C-Quarters and all) makes more sense than the one in the world of Growing Around.

Enter hates conflict, especially if it implies that there would be people unhappy with his "perfect" society.

Doesn't he get that even the most saccharine of stories needs some conflict to be at all interesting? He's even triggered by Fluttershy being rude. Fucking ponies are too dark for him.

Dude, we need proof. Screencaps and whatnot. Don't tell us this stuff unless you can back it up.

1. We already know he dislikes us.
2. We already know Enter stole the idea for GA from a failed Disney pilot.
3. It's spelled "reek."

Get your weak ass shit off our forum.

@Ho Mo for Women, 1185: I knew people - including myself - who fit the stereotype of disliking vegetables, but they didn't just eat candy; they had your meats and your fruits and your rest of your food groups as well.

@AnOminous: He would really fit in in the 80s.

Oh man, what a joy things like Water District meetings must be when your fellow Board members aren't just acting like children.

Gee, agriculture must be such a fulfilling practice in their world.

In a sensible world: "What shall I grow this year for capitalizing on the market/my regional growing conditions/my personal preferences? A sensible mix of grain and potato crops seems optimal."

In GA: "Welp, looks like we're growing sugarcane. Again."
And then when their teeth are rotting they have to go to a child dentist. Oh god this place gets more nightmarish the more I think about it.
