If you're gay, you have to live in a crowded orphanage for the rest of your life, or have kids you might not even want with someone you're not attracted to. He'd lose his shit if any other show implied something like that.
This just shows that Enter is a massive hypocrite. He complains on and on about implications in cartoons. These cartoons are made for children, and most children will not think about rape every two seconds. Then you have Growing Around, where many kids WILL think about the logic in this world.

He complains about the "it's for kids" excuse all the time, but sometimes it is an excuse. Very few kids think in the manchild way Enter does, and Enter may or may not realize that, probably the latter.

I wonder if Enter thinks abut the horrifying implications of the shit he's made. And if he does, does he think it's justified in any way?

Growing Around should just be renamed to Unfortunate Implications: The Show. Because this universe gets more disturbing the more things are put into consideration. I mean, shit like child porn would technically be legal in this universe.
I really hope someone working on the show stops and realizes this..

... And if they do realize THAT, may they stop working on this POS altogether and rethink how they're going to get anywhere in this field that this POS fails to even apply to at close range.

Growing Around is one of those ideas that's best left as a short.

The more the creators try to make sense out of how the world works in the show, the worse it gets.

There are a lot of cartoons out there that are a victim of this unfortunate and sad truth you point out - but I'd rather not sperg about them here, as much as I would love to, just to reinforce some things truly wrong with all of this - and why I immensely oppose it more than I should care.

The only way I can kind of see this working is as some really dark comedy about a terrible dystopian world. You can't have a light-hearted kids' cartoon about something that instantly becomes horrifying once you spend more than a minute thinking it through.

This is such an active clusterfuck it's unbelievable. The casting procedure was embarrassingly amateur. The quality of the actors is low. The art isn't too bad but in all honesty the father looks like a rip-off of Fry from Futurama. The plot is at best nonsensical and at worst has implications of rape, forced/coerced marriage and incest.

They have a fanfic.net quality idea for a project being produced on a youtube review show budget and yet they seriously think they have what it takes to approach major television cartoon networks.

Just going to enjoy this ride.

Enter's grasp on what makes a cartoon entertaining is tenacious to put it lightly. This show he's trying to push doesn't get anything right. The characterization is bad, the writing is bad, the humor is bad, the animation is bad, the voice acting is bad and the whole premise is as predictably bad as it is cringe-worthy. Nothing about it works and Enter is delusional enough that he thinks its going to take him places.

With all the bitching he's done in the past about that sort of thing in cartoons, he's breaking all the rules himself and being a two faced phony about the whole thing.

Exactly my point. He complains about plot holes in cartoons. His show has MASSIVE plot holes, as discussed earlier. He said he hates the "It's a kid show" excuse. He has used it. Yet he still complains about other peoples work, when I would rather watch The Splinter than a full episode of Growing Around.
