I thought Enter's logic was more like a contagious epidemic, what with how it spreads to people with no opinions rapidly the more people stupidly take his hypocrisy for word of law.

Oh - and him trying to justify it's just for kids - NO.

How exactly does this appeal to "smarter" kids? I mean, it's not THAT different from pandering bullshit- no/minimal character personalities, generic plots everywhere, and hell, the concept is really undeveloped. There are many plotholes, and the way Enter and the gang is taking it, it won't be that different from Breadwinners in terms of quality.

and trying to reach an untapped audience rather than caring about profit.

you know its all fun of games with that no profit thing until you realizes how much time and effort your putting in and getting nothing in return satisfaction can only go so far

Clearly this guy just wants to appease his lord and savior Mr. Enter.

This confirms a suspicion I've had about Mr. Enter: he doesn't understand that the "industry" is an industry. The networks are businesses. They can't air shows that won't bring in any money, and why should they? With no profit, the networks can't expand; they can't shield themselves from any future improprieties; it won't be worth the bother because the shareholders and executives won't reap a substantial reward from their involvement; and most importantly, (to Mr. Enter, at least) no new little kids' shows will be made because adoption of a new series requires capital. TV shows are expensive, especially animation, and I don't think Mr. Enter has thought of, well, practically anything.

Hence why I think it's a much better idea that Growing Around should be an Internet show on YouTube instead of a show on a TV network that will never make it beyond the pilot episode.

Not saying the quality will be any better, but it is what it is.

At least they'll be able to see for themselves how regular people outside of the group of fanboys on DA will react and be able to get some feedback on what to change, improve on, and all that shit and scrap the idea if it bombs.

I find it funny how these people say enter isn't in it for profit, yet instead of doing it as a hobby and making it some little Internet thing, he just straight expects to get paid in a field he has no experience in. If anything he is only doing it for the money, and maybe fame

The hypocrisy - it's like the rabbit hole theorem we keep describing - it's too deep for words.

Huge hup

Haha. I thought that he hated that excuse. Enter and his friends are full of crap.

They do, because they think there's more to cartoons than just appealing to children.

Sure some cartoons can have an underlying message every now and then, but then again, sometimes a chair is just simply a chair. That's it.

Part of the problem with Enter is that he watches some cartoons that appeal to both children and adults, like Gravity Falls, so he expects all cartoons to do the same. He doesn't realize that some kids' cartoons are going to be silly and immature because kids are silly and immature. Not every cartoon is going to appeal to adults too.

FUCKING. THANK. YOU. Thank you, one and all - and this is coming from someone who once stupidly though like Entard (AKA, the same way he still stupidly does today.). Sad as what you pointed out unfortunately can be to Western animation fans like myself, it's just another cold hard truth to handily accept and deal with - by not whining like a little bitch about it, but instead watching what you like, despite its flaws to others!
