GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games ever, with the hotly anticipated title slated as a follow up to one of the best-selling games of all time in GTA 5. A Rockstar fan stormed the Gamescom stage demanding a release date for the game.

Every big industry game reveal panel since the GTA 6 leaks has had fans begging for release date on the hotly anticipated title, but Rockstar hasn’t budged when it comes to giving more information.

Considering how successful GTA 5 has been over the years, it’s no surprise that people are waiting for more news on the title. However, some fans have gone a bit too far in showing their passion for the title.

A fan of the game went as far as to rush the stage at Gamescom while host Geoff Keighley was speaking, demanding a release date for GTA 6.

Geoff Keighley is no stranger to having bizarre interactions with fans on stage. Getting ambushed by a man that’s since gone viral while presenting the Game of the Year award to Elden Ring developer FromSoftware comes to mind as a big moment.

However, someone in attendance at Gamescom rushed the stage in an attempt to replicate that moment and make his devotion to the GTA series clear.

He stepped right next to Keighley, attempting to scream into the mic. Thought it was hard to make out what he was saying, it’s clear he demanded news on GTA 6.

“Bill Clinton wants to play GTA 6!” he screamed repeatedly, replicating the meme Matan started at The Game Awards.

Geoff addressed the man rushing the stage a short time after he was escorted away, and had this to say to both him and anyone trying to replicate this sort of behavior.

“This is so disappointing. This is such a special night for so many developers and it’s really disappointing to see someone act that way.”

Apropos of nothing, I want to gut and dismember everyone who calls a videogame a "title".

(I am slightly more forgiving of singularizing always-plurals, because it's a necessity in that industry, although the spokescreatures who let it leak into the normie corpus deserve the rope no less than game journos.)

Rockstar really is the new Blizzard. Legit shameful what happened to this company.
I find Rockstar being eerily similar to Bethesda that I think I won't notice a thing if these two companies merged. Both companies have a shit online game and fifth installment of a game franchise that's being milked to death since by rereleasing them into platforms.

I'm just waiting for Bethesda to have their own GTA: Definitive Edition moment.

And have them screw it up? No thanks. I will look at the glass half full and see a lazy and yet functional port in modern machinery as a win these days.
I'm still bewildered that they just ported the game to the dead PS4 and aging Switch after years and years insisting "IT CAN'T BE PORTED BECUZ MUH SPAGHETTI CODE", but still won't bring the fucking thing to PC.

I really don't get that. I'm by no means a computer expert, buy if you programmed the game on a computer and presumably tested it on a computer, you should be able to port it to pc, right??

Before these ports, it was at least vaguely plausible that a port could be very difficult. The game was exclusively running on two oddball pieces of proprietary hardware that are totally different than modern PCs.

But now they've demonstrated that ports are entirely possible and have it running on PS4, which is all but standard AMD x86 hardware. At this point, it should be trivial to port to PC and they just refuse to do it, almost certainly because of the piracy boogeyman.

Guess after the "definitive" edition of the 3D GTA games, Im just glad they didnt try to "fix" the original in any way.

My expectations from this company are so fucking small that Im just glad when they didnt destroy everything

Imagine thinking this will prevent piracy and not instead make it worse because people that would perhaps pay for a fair price on steam now have no option at all except to go for emulation.

Rockstar is nigger tier intelligence at this point.

All of nigger worship in their games has satanically transformed them into niggers themselves!
