Countries in the west have overall similar numbers of killings, but mass shooting are mostly an american thing. My country has gang killings too but we didn't have a mass shooting since the 80s. I guess guns are blamed cause it's easier to go on killing sprees with guns, but America just can't do without them, it's part of your nature. It'd be like france without foie gras.

Well, I wouldn't say that your country should legalize gun ownership. Weak people--weak countries--shouldn't own guns. This is a good thing and I applaud your population being disarmed.

It's not illegal, cause that'd be kinda nuts, it's just much more restricted and regulated, and gun ownership is just unusual on a culture standpoint.

I agree. I'm a firearms enthusiast, and I appreciate the function of them, but if I were honest I'd say that 70% of the reason I like them are because I think they're cool.

Completely agreed. The only reason I really like guns is because they're cool. Otherwise I would've stopped caring a long time ago.

I'm well aware my home state of Virginia is a haven for straw buyers but our crime is a fraction of neighboring Murderland with far stricter gun laws.

Two of the cities with the highest gun murder rates (D.C. and Chicago) had gun laws so strict they were outright unconstitutional.

Guns are a bigger magnet for autism then Sonic the Hedgehog.

A little bit of a stretch, but those who are autistic about them, are really autistic about them.

Personally I prefer more serious discussions about them with knowledgeable people who aren't total spergs about it.

9mm vs. .45 ACP and AR-15 vs. AK variants is always a favorite slapfight of mine to watch. I just say use whatever you prefer and stop being a sperg about it. And that's not even the political shit people get into over this stuff.

But we can all agree that mall ninjas are the worst spergs, especially the Jace clones and outspoken "three percenter" types. Tacticool multicam everything!
