Now that I've been a member for a few days, I figured it was high time I start actively contributing to the pastime this forum is built around; exhaustive cataloging the activities of internet personalities that are in some way crazy and or amusing.
The personality I'd like to bring to the attention of the forum today is known as Gyro Gun by those unfortunate enough to have actively endured his presence, though he has a plethora of sock-puppet accounts strewn around the internet that are about as hard to identify as those run by TJChurch.
My first encounter with Gyro Gun occurred shortly after I joined BYOND, which is a web-based coding and hosting platform that enables users to design and play their own simplistic 2D multiplayer games. I'm a big roleplayer, so I was immediately drawn to RP Unlimited, a text-based roleplaying engine designed by Anthony Hawkina and Lloyd Ishtar. RP Unlimited is one of those 'great concept, shoddy execution' ideas that had a great deal of potential, but is to this day hampered by having zero moderation, no barrier for entry, and a userbase that consists almost exclusively of 14 year old American anime fans (as even the briefest glance at the hosted servers page will make abundantly clear). Still, I got together with a decent group of older users and still enjoy roleplaying on private servers hosted using RP Basic, a successor program with infinitely tighter programming and a superior interface.
Gyro Gun was and still is a notorious figure on both RP Unlimited and RP Basic, for the simple reason that he's craaaazy. For starters, he uses his own art for characters; art that can be found here on his DA page. Suffice to say he incorporates every possible aspect of the traditional whiny, terrible, incredibly self-entitled DA artist; right down to the borderline sociopathic rants about anything that offends him (which used to be on his DA account, as evidenced in this hilariously cutting rebuttal here.)
In addition to his terrible art and vitriolic loathing of bronies, Gyro Gun has a major reputation on both RP Unlimited and RP Basic as, well, kind of a pedophile. Literally all of his characters (well, when they aren't recolored Megaman sprites) are furry shotacon crossdessers, nudists, or vore fetishists. On fantasy roleplaying servers, he will generally try and create a shotacon lizard (I'm not linking a picture as it's on his DA and if you're that morbidly curious you can go trawl through there) whose only power is 'video game respawning' and try throwing himself into the maw of the nearest monster at the first opportunity. His other characters include a shotacon weasel NINJA EXTRODINARE who uses his stealth powers to... deep sigh... steal woman's underwear, and finally several Sonic recolors (what did you expect?) whose personalities are entirely secondary to their desire to espouse on how awesome underage nudism is.
The best part of all this is that depending on who you ask, Gyro Gun is in his late thirties, though my fascination with his antics doesn't extend far enough to actually confirm this.
As well as his in-character antics, Gyro Gun has a history of stalking, disruptive behavior and aggressive lashing out at the staff of both RP Unlimited and RP Basic. He has abused the way server titles were handled at one point to indulge in a bizarre conspiracy theory on RP Unlimited, as well as actively insult people he doesn't like on RP Basic. Another incident involved people becoming so disgusted with his pedophilia tendencies that they reported him to the owners of the Byond hub, which very nearly got the entire game removed from the site. As a result, he was permanently banned from RP Unlimited. This was naturally evidence of the vast conspiracy to discredit him, and resulted in these three delightful threads on the main forum. He has also tried several times to impersonate RP Unlimited developers and send threatening messages to various players. All of these are documented as extensively as possible in this album.
All in all, Gyro Gun is a pretty consistent source of hilarity. His utter impotence and immense ego rival anything TJChurch puts out, although unfortunately in recent months he appears to have settled into a much more passive stance now that literally everyone on RP Unlimited and RP Basic is familiar with his attitude and ban him on sight. I can totally understand if he is a little bit too obscure to belong to this forum, but I felt that after threads talking about certifiable lunatics like Nick Bate and SJW's, a thread about an entitled furry with a terrible persecution complex would be a refreshing change of pace.
EDIT: I forgot RP Unlimited has an ED page, written either by Gyro Gun or somebody trying reasonably well to impersonate him. It's horribly biased... but unfortunately a mostly-true assessment of the quality of the average public roleplay there.
