Responding to someone asking if he thinks HLX/3 is getting announced this year. "If it's not at TGA it's not getting announced this year, and it's not at TGA. So no."
I'm going to blame this on the RAM/computer parts market going haywire. Valve almost certainly wants HLX as a tie-in with the Steam Machine, but if they still haven't nailed down an actual price for the thing yet because of the market going insane, they can't really do a dual reveal with the game and the hardware's pricing, which is sort of what I assume their plan would be so as to not overshadow the hardware.

Almost every single reply is about Half-Life.

Geoff really does know how to get people to tune into his event.

It's funny that Reddit OP literally made that account purely to post that, and then didn't even link the stream where supposedly Tyler said this, So here's a actual clip from Tyler's stream.

Valve is gonna release it just to screw with this guy

its gonna be something like concord 2 isn't it. :stress:
People are 99% sure the current big teaser, with that statue and everything, is for a new Divinity game. The only reason to believe HL3 is going to be there is the fact Valve pulled Alyx out of TGA last minute a few years ago, that and the rocket which is probably just a really funny coincidence.

The fact there is a decent chance this actually happened scares me.

Just hope for nothing. Last year right before TGS Gabe was fucking with everybody by sailing his yacht in a pointlessly retarded way, to form a lambda, and if nothing came of that, reading tea leaves and discerning cloud shapes won't do you better.

Oh, you just know he's browsing all social media and laughing at all the delusional hope-posting, in that super yacht of his. Super based, if you ask me.

After all the teases this single year alone while also having a ROCKET LAUNCHING referencing an iconic HL line in the SAME DAY as TGA, it legit sounds criminal to just shrug and say

"Oh. OH! You were actually thinking it was for a HL3 announcement? No, dude, its all a coincidence."1765418191153.png
