Tyler seems convinced it won't be at TGA, I believe other insiders have shared this sentiment but I can't name them off the top of my head. Now this either means that it won't be at TGA, or....

It will be at TGA, and Valve have kept that really close to the chest. Like so close no one outside of a handful of people know about the reveal.

As always, expect nothing. I'm in the camp the reveal, if planned for this year, got pushed back into early next year. But the Raising the Bar reprint still hasn't been officially delayed, yet.
 
I have consulted with the finest Silicon and Hasidic minds at PolyMarket, and they have the odds set at 22% for HL3 being announced before the end of 2025 (i.e. TGA).
There were spikes of 67% Yes on Nov 29th and 62% Yes on Dec 2nd and it has been downhill since then. Anyone know if there were details ""leaked"" or figured out on those specific dates? I have a sneaking suspicion that this chart perfectly fucking matches what McVicker, Gabe Follower and a few other twitter users have been posting.

There is a much more positive bet on HL3 releasing before 2027, with the odds sitting around 78% Yes, but with a much smaller market cap of only $14.5k.
I don't exactly trust PolyMarket as a source, but it is interesting to see how many people are willing to put their money where their mouth is. Currently there is $60,000 worth of guessing happening right now so regardless it will be interesting to see what happens.

Here is a list of the top juicers investors and their positions. Pictured right is the top hopium consumer who has invested 2k in YES and is currently sitting on a loss of $1300.

On a tangent, I have never used PolyMarket before, I only heard about it from Trump's election being predicted by it and its actually kind of insane how much some of these people have invested in what is basically an educated guess. BMJ tier activity.

Are you ready for nothing to happen today, Freeman bros? I got all my chips on no announcement and only the Gman can turn that into a feltening.
 
whenever they announce HL3 it'll probably be alongside the announcement of the prices/dates for new steam hardware. Optimistically early January, more realistically i expect to hear a delay for the steam machine and frame to late 2026 if not 27 if they do hardware revisions, then a march announcement for "the next chapter of half life will be soon, stay tuned". will i be wrong? 9/10 doctors agree.

The only reason he keeps saying that is due to him being scared of death threats, he got a "credible" one last year when he was hyping it being at the TGA's. Privately, atleast according to r*dditors. He says it's possible on his discord. And had a freudian slip yesterday on stream saying "We'll have to wait for the TGA's" Its McVicker and he's using the last of his time making money on YT streaming before he's completely irrelevant.

So I decided I actually would like to play Half-Life: Alyx, but I obviously don’t want to buy a VR headset for just one game. Can anyone comment on the NoVR mod? Is it worth playing the game with that?
