Don't remind me how there is still a debate on which is the worst mod, Hunt Down the Freeman or Prospekt.

In terms of production values, Hunt Down the Freeman is objectively worse. Prospekt is shorter and made by one dude while not trying to be more than what it is, fanfiction over Adrian Shep being in HL2.

HDTF has cutscenes and voice actors and a lot of extra new content made by underpaid or not paid at all modder devs. All in all, its like asking what is worse, an indie short movie being flawed with some good parts or a high budget studio backed movie being legit bad with one or two nice moments?

HDTF has my vote and the fact there is debate is moronic.

Is the Blue Shift stuff that the Black Mesa team keep posting on Steam any good? And if it is good, do you think I should wait for it all to be finished before I play?
I was playing the unfinished black mesa Beta back in 2010, you should just play now and watch it improve over the years when they finally finish it

Word is that Filip Victor of the HL2: Update fame was working on a new project, Half-Life 2: Remastered Collection (SteamDB), Valve picked up the project and that's what they're preparing for the anniversary. Or at the very least that's what I got from the rumor mill so don't quote me on that.
I was hearing people talk about that ages ago apparently it was going to have workshop and being on the CSGO branch of the source engine, the workshop support would be nice because its a pain in the ass wanting to play an old mod that you realize is broken or needs a patch from somewhere else so having it all centalized on steam is nicee.

Do anyone what video he's referring about The Entropy: Zero? Dude deletes comments if you mention the Jewtuber.

Also Nigger doesn't know what "overrated" means.
Overrated is when people praise it too highly despite being flawed. This idiot thinks if many people like something that means it can't be overrated.

heres some more stuff that I havent really seen yet from half life 1 beta content. He also talks about the xash3d drama I mentioned surprisingly enough lol

YouTuber Pinsplash, notable for his interesting videos showcasing interesting/bizarre bugs in HL2 and having a voice that sounds just like The Constant from Hitman, made a video a few days ago attacking both Entropy: Zero mods in a deeply bitter and bitchy manner. Most of his critiques were nitpicks or attacking small details no one would have ever noticed instead of something more substantial.
Someone re-uploaded it if you want to watch it:

Half Life community has always been full of crybaby niggers.

Have to archive that.

NGL that guy always came off as such a smug asshole even before this drama, and IIRC also defended Keffals during the whole #DropKiwifarms saga, so there's that.

Edit: Also remember he did a totally-not-mad video bitching that someone stole his content. Honestly, I liked his source facts, but all his other bullshit seeps too much into his regular content to ever enjoy them.

He apparently wrote some Community post shortly after removing the video complaining about how his mental health has suffered due to the poor response he got, so wouldn't surprise me if such a fag also loves troons.

Sir, another half life 1 beta archive has hit the towers. (other one posted was net test 2 this is net test 1)
this beta contains far more unused assets compared to net test 2 iirc.
it appears the heavy gunner was fully intended for final release seeing as it has a german censor almost fully developed along with this cursed zombie.

I did not know Harry S Robins voiced the Marines, too. Very interesting leak, that headcrab zombie robot is fucking cursed tho

Hey guys, here's a question I'm sure you never expected...

..... Is there a resource that lists mods by whether or not they work with pre-Steam versions of Half-Life 1?

Basically I just want something else to do on my Windows 98 PC. Win98 can't run Steam but it can run Half-Life if you have old physical copies (which I do). But it seems so often a mod requires the steam version.
