I hope that Frame thing is just Valve trolling. Remember the Portal easter egg in CS:GO Danger Zone?

if what has been alluded to about it (no need for base stations and completely wireless) is true then I absolutely hope it isn't. I'll gladly sell my Index for a Steam Frame at that point.

That said, it is a little odd that they haven't formally announced it yet, I figured a video would be out by now, going by the Steam Deck situation, but maybe not.

I am willing to wager that we will get some info next week. Maybe along with A game announcement. I have been reading posts by Crafty-Average-586 and there are some interesting things there. Not to mention that the acc is 9 months old and there was a hint that he works for Gabe's other company - Starfish Neuroscience.

according to one of the main guys who covers the Deckard (sadlyitsbradley) it might even be above the Index at like 1200 USD, so there'll be probably twice as much kvetching this time around.

Since it's supposed to be also a standalone VR set and being sold at a loss.... could be not that bad. Would be fun to play stuff in the yard.

i hope they can pull a steamdeck stuff and let you use steambux to alleviate some of the costs, while it might suck as US only shit i do have a few pals i can count on.

ESCalation - eh, guy may be a furry but most of his videos are just informational and nothing else.
Wayneradiotv - he and his series itself are fine, just really, really, overexposed because of normies. Breaking Bad series was better. Poor Greg Coomer doesn't deserve to have his name attached to a tranny. That dude was one of the last old guard to leave Valve.
Lucia - he's fine, a little heavy on clickbait on some thumbnails but he's still mostly like ESCalation in producing strictly information content.
Richter - half agree? There's not anything bad him but I swear my radar is going off about him, like I feel I'm gonna hear something horrible about him years from now.

I don't know if that was ever confirmed, directly or not. As much as I would love if all the old guys and gals got together to film the Documentaries and have one last hoorah in the form of HL3, I'm still expecting to not see any of them. Until I see their names in the credits, I'm going to assume none of them worked on it.

Unless I see a phalic monster. Then I know Ted worked on it.

My personal opinion about HL3 is that it's in development but 99.99999% it will not finish development and even if it does it will only be avaliable to Valve employees. So those who say it will never be released are half right and half wrong because it's gonna release, just not for you cuz you ain't a Valve employee
