HL 3...is it still happening?

At times like this remember the saying:
Expect nothing and you will not be disappointed
But one thing’s for certain something has been in development for the last 5 years something valve has found worthwhile to continue with it’s development and the pieces are lining up.

Why did everyone think it would be announced on Tuesday when literally last week the hardware was announced on Wednesday, CS2 was announced on a Wednesday, and Alyx was weird since they announced the trailer on Monday and released the trailer on Thursday. Tuesday is when Steam maintenance happens

didn't they have to announce HLA early because Tyler Mcnigga leaked it
 
My biggest fear for HL3 is ost not made by Kelly Bailey. The only memorable soundtrack from HLA was inside the vault and in the credits.
 
I don't even want HL3, I want the Ravenholm immersive sim Arkhane was working on before it got canceled.

I would love it if Valve had picked up the project and completed it.

Either that or give me something where I can play as Shepard.
