for Half-Life: Source

its out, have been watching the update videos for some time and I can understand why he used hl source, its mostly just for npc pathfinding and animation reasons (from what the mod creator said iirc)
Half‑Life: Lemmings v1.0 — First Released Build

Place the mod in the Sourcemod folder, just like any other Source mod.

Half‑Life: Lemmings v1.0 - First Released Build

Thanks everyone for waiting!

Keep in mind this is, once again, a mod for Half‑Life: Source. Even though I'm using BloodyMuffin's HL:S Fixed v2.0 and did everything possible to patch some AI bugs, there might still be a few. They're not game breaking or annoying, just minor bugs-

Hopefully the wait was worth it, this demo contains everything from Unforeseen Consequences up to Apprehension, which is literally almost half the game.

You can rescue up to 45 NPCs throughout the mod, including Scientists and Security Guards.

I did everything possible to make this mod enjoyable, with lots of playtesting done by friends and myself.

Since this is the first build release, if you encounter any bugs or issues, please leave them in the comments. I'll release patches to fix problems as they come up.

With all that said: enjoy the mod. Think, Shoot, Live, and Rescue them!

Fixed some current bugs in the Lemmings demo. -Fixed some places where scientist/Barney jumps would fail, causing them to fly upward with no gravity. -Fixed soldiers not dealing damage to the player. -Fixed minor bugs across several maps. -Removed “Node graph out of date” warnings. -Fixed squad commands calling an NPC in Office Complex that the player hadn’t encountered yet. -Made the Apprehension rescue point more obvious for players who were confused about why the squad system was disabled, it now explicitly tells you that a rescue sequence is happening plus a sound cue.

-Fixed a small issue with the scientists pickup line being corrupted.

-Fixed the slippery section of the Akira elevator not being slippery enough for headcrabs to fall down.

-Fixed NPCs not being able to climb ladders before the long corridor.

----

-Fixed squad system binding keys not working correctly.

Since I wasn’t able to implement keybinds in the configuration menu for each squad command, here’s how to add your own keybinds manually. Open the game’s console and paste the following commands:

Security Guards: bind "b" "ent_fire barney_call_run_logic trigger"

(Replace the "b" key with any key you want to use to call your security guards.)

Scientists: bind "c" "ent_fire scientist_call_run_logic trigger"

(Replace the "c" key with any key you want to use to call your scientists.

To apply this patch, simply paste the folders into the mods folder and replace every file.

The guy responsible for making the Full-life consequences-like machinima retelling of HDTF has sadly, trooned out.

I misread and thought you meant one of the guys from ICTON, responsible for the original Full-Life Consequences videos trooned out. Don't scare me like that man. :(
David, djy1991.. Man I spent years on ICTON. Great forum, great guys. Some of them even specifically asked me to get a mic cause I played a lot with them. I loved David's generic ass boring high school vlogs from Canada. They seemed so exotic yet down to earth. They're all removed now, of course, and ICTON died once they migrated primarily to playing Mabinogi instead of source-based games.

Wonder how many of those are troonies and faggots now..

Still going through Alyx in VR for the first time. It's probably because I had instinctually grabbed and put on a gas mask at the start of the game (which meant that I didn't need to cover mouth to stop coughing with the spores), and also that I knew exactly where and how to get the three power cells to progress, but Jeff sadly largely didn't end up 'scaring' me much at all. I was teleporting around and shit super fast because when you know how he works it's pretty easy to keep him perpetually distracted lol. Seeing it in VR was super cool though, especially the parts where you're forced to be right next to him, and where you're also forced to use the flashlight. And I know for sure that if I had played this when it first came out completely blind, that entire section would've hugely impressed me. It still does, but I'm missing the personal 'genuienely pretty spooked through the entire chapter' factor that Ravenholm gave me so long ago. This is my fault entirely, not the game's, though.

Me neither and I played blind on release. It is a neat set pice but, like the whole game, slightly underwhelming and overrated.
My ideal HLA would have had the freedom and interaction from Boneworks but polished.
I still really like HLA but it's like going on a Disneyland ride, especially how, outside of Russell and the last one, all other characters act at you from behind a safety barrier. It's odd but once I noticed that I never got it out of my head and it hurt the feeling of being part of the world.

Anyone know why Triage at Dawn was randomly re-posted by the Valve - Topic YouTube music channel a few days ago?

Furthermore, it seems that other songs have been reposted too, I haven't tried the whole soundtrack but this is certainly strange.

These are extra weird when considering that the Valve - Topic channel already had releases of these songs 6 years ago with hundreds of thousands of views.

I am aware that both the channel and uploads are auto-generated; however, that usually involves some kind of backend activity from the company in question, no? What is Valve doing?

Pick up that can, this is my city. Pick up that fucking can, now. Or I'll fucking end you. Do you understand me?

SFM animations are getting quite realistic.
