I've got my candy sorted but am still trying to work out my Halloween night movie list. Only one on the list so far is Terrifier 2. The first one was great. Very excited we finally got a sequel.

Going to be doing some Pumpkin Masters pumpkins. Some are a lot of work but they look so good when they are done.

This is the first Halloween I'm not taking out the kids trick or treating. Kinda bums me out cause it was fun, but I get to hand out candy to the miscreants around here and scare the bejeesus out of them so it's not all bad.

I am also glad October is almost over cause I'm sick of pumpkin spice everything.
 
Taking 1 or 2 small people trick-or-treating. I have a neighborhood and a route that is reliable, did 78 houses last year before it got too dark/cold.

EDIT: made it to 88 houses, a new record for us

During the downtime I saw the local ECTO-1 on the road, think I got some video.
So far today my usual "wear my normal clothes and a lucha mask" has gone over good as usual at work.

Carved a jack o lantern and passed out candy for the first time since 2019, I'm about to sit down with some roast pumpkin seeds and watch a movie, but I'm having trouble picking what.

Also, was a very happy Halloween surprise to see we're back.

I don't think I've handed out candy since the last millennium. I make sure to keep enough on hand in case kids really do show up, but it's been easily twenty years since I've had a single trick or treater.

IDGAF how old someone is; you come to my house on Halloween night without acting a shit, I will give you candy. The stigma most people seem to hold against teens trick-or-treating is especially retarded. Would people rather the teenagers go get drunk, high and STD-riddled at questionable parties? Should they go around committing vandalism and steal little kids' candy bags? Fuck that. Teenagers more than anyone else should be out trick-or-treating, especially if they're chaperoning a little one or two. Good on you. I hope you had a blast and some good shit in between all those Warheads.

Did you ever end up watching it? I haven't, but I'd like to know if it was worth seeing. I hear it's incredibly gory, which is always good for a slasher movie like this.

I still remember that scene in the first one where the chick gets hung upside down and sawed in half, that kill fucked with me

Still surprised a kill like that didn't go to the mom or someone else built up as far more unlikable. I guess that just adds to the cruelty of it all, but still.
