Halloween is evil

My favorite brand of Christian is the performative one that thinks God is super weak and offended by everything. That Jesus is literally can't even'ing because you dressed up like Superman and met your neighbors.

No it isn't a satanic ritual it comes from pagen/druid rituals and even the church allows the worship of all hallows eve aka Halloween. The passing out of candy comes from the idea that on Halloween ghouls, ghost's and goblins come out and either you are to treat the entities if they're good with sweets/treats and if they're evil you give them trickery. Lone behold 100 years ago the tradition of tricks and treats morphed into the modern day come on lol Timmy dress up as Batman and go to agnus the next door neighbor with your pumpkin bin and ask for Candy. Watch in delight or terror as you hope for Reece's and Snickers and fear getting bonbons or peppermint candy.
