Halo

I really miss Halo. I enjoyed all of them except 4 and 5. I even liked Halo Wars 1 and 2. They had solid campaigns until 343 took over the series but I wouldn't want Bungie to come back either now with how they handled the trainwreck that is the Destiny franchise.

Edit: Should have said that I like the music its top tier.

ODST and Reach had the best campaigns. Halo 3 had the best multiplayer. I was disgustingly good in Halo 2 multiplayer. Turns out, breaking your leg is a good way to go from being good at a video game to being looked at by MLG teams.
 

I don't know why they focused so much on the random guy. Maybe he is a main character? It's interesting they said the war against Cortana was lost. I guess Cortana rules the galaxy now?

I am still interested in the series even thought 343 industries has screwed up so far.

Infinite is probably gonna dive into the subject of lore that has yet to be properly visualized: the Halo ring more prominently involved with the Forerunner-Flood war, Installation 07.

I dunno if they said this takes place on that ring in particular, doubt it, but Cortana has dangerously grown past what Mendicant Bias (long story) was and how he defected to the Flood.

Cortana is going to get even creepier after this games story, I feel.
 
Chief's armor's nice, I didn't like Halo 5's story but I'm very much aware of Chief's lore in the books so even though 343 really fucked up the story, I'm kinda hoping Chief, the Arbiter and Blue Team (Chief's team in Halo 5) get a lot of screen time in this game, oh and that purple space robot girl too, her voice is too cute to pass up.
 
The original prototype of Halo was so much more interesting than the lobotomized, half-finished game that got shat out in the end. It’s quite sad That that game never ended up coming out.
 
The SPV3 project does a pretty good job of boosting the first HALO to actually play like it was the part of an already established videogame franchise at the time.

as for the new halo game it looks meh but the trailers was the biggest offender to me. i dont wanna see some god damn poo-loo cry that he misses his family and have some boring massages playing in the backgruand (TELL DADDY HOW BIG YOU ARE). i want to see master chief stomp the skull of some xeno fucks and shoot them to death. thats how you hype up an audience! the second trailer was just meh with a boring Thanos clone giving a speech.

I don't know how the fuck 343 pulled off HtT but had the goddawful writing of 5. Also hilarious to me how Keegan Michael Key's performance in it was better than anything from his partner in "comedy" Jordan Peele's shitty films.
 
If I remember correctly, the company that made Hunt The Truth only did it based on an outline from 343. They didn't know what 343 was doing with Halo 5.
