Ok first off I am new here. Long time lurker, big time CWC...researcher if thats what you wanna call it ha. My question to you all is, has anyone ever thought to take the time and possibly print out all the comics and put them into like some sort of physical collection? My roommate and I have been discussing this for a while and how we would like a hard copy of the comic. I'm not necessarily saying published but I think it should be preserved so that future generations can view this "thing" called sonichu. Any thoughts?
 
Is CWC really so much of a phenomenon that Sonichu should be preserved for future generations?

You did give me an idea, though. I know someone who owns a printing company; a comic book-style print of any of the Sonichu issues would be a cool little novelty.
 
There was talk during the immediate post-fire days, but it was eventually dropped due to expense and lack of enthusiasm.

No but I think it would be interesting to have such a thing. I know a lot of the comics are around 100+ pages so it would be costly but a graphic move of sonichu intrigues me. So I can read before bed and have terrible dreams hah.
 
I'd pay money for an Annotated Sonichu hard copy.
 
If I ruled the world, all the prisons would have nothing but leather-bound hard back copies of the entire Sonichu collection in their libraries. No other reading material would be allowed.

I do not predict a substantial increase in the prison population would result.
 
There are at least two one-off printings of Sonichu out there. Some guy, I forgot where, posted photos of his copy. Also @JeffGoldblumIRL has a copy.
 
My company deals with a print shop all the time. I might just have to ask how much. Something around 1000 pages im guessing.

The question I'd have is how high of a resolution do we have available to us? I mean, not to say that the Sonichu comics don't look awful on their own, but unless we've got high resolution copies at 300dpi or more, it's going to look especially awful.

Still, I think I'd definitely shell out cash for a physical copy, so if we're looking to go that direction sign me up :D

There is a site that hosts them all and they are pretty decent resolution. Idk who runs this site though.

Somehow, part of me wants to think that the Russians would somehow "get" Sonichu. I want to picture it as going something like this:
