Yeah, honestly, I'm getting really tired of all of this whining about how video games are Serious, Life-Altering Business and how the industry is going down the crapper. Just play games. That's all you gotta do. I haven't seriously read gaming news for nigh on two years (and honestly, I should have stopped sooner), and the overall effect on the "industry" really doesn't matter to me at all as long as I can still do what I love doing.

But a person put work into something, whether or not it came out to anything worth while, they wanted to say something. But you determined with your code of ethics, that they only get a voice if they say what you want to hear. If not, then you call them out on it. And then if that won't silence them, then you throw everything at the wall. You sit like a petulant child, screaming, "but they did this, and that, and this and that are very bad things!" And there is something that disturbs me deeply about this. It's about video games. You have people who are involved in pure entertainment. The most they will ever do is give someone something to ponder about. They didn't write a book about science. Their opinions weren't going to completely change how we see the very natural world. No one will ever shape future generations with the things these people say.
