Why can't we have another Burnout?

Last year had Dangerous Driving from Three Fields Entertainment, created by Alex Ward, Fiona Sperry, and Paul Ross, formerly of Criterion, and it was intended to be a spiritual successor to the Burnout series. FailRace's Alex Day only found it so-so, but there will be an open world sequel set to come out later this year.
