I saw a thread talking about the political views of KiwiFarmers. Back in 2017 it seems there was much more of a liberal leaning to the site. Now we can talk all about troons and whatever but even the extreme hater of Troons sometimes are the most left wing tankies there are, however the more recent results from that thread show more right wing views in KiwiFarms now
I highly doubt it’s from an influx of 4channers or something, I also used to frequently browse KiwiFarms way back in early 2022 and it still felt extremely centrist to me as if there wasn’t any sort of politics involved unless there were threads dedicated to them. Personally I think it might be more media exposure to KiwiFarms since it got oofed off the internet and now we need to go to Sao Tome and Principe’s domain to view the site. Glad to be back to KiwiFarms, cheers.

Yes. The one issue seem be the "lost boys" latching onto Kiwifarms and Null and treating the site like its 4chan.
The other reason is the "left wing" is acting insane to a much more extreme degree now. I think some "center left" people cannot handle this and want their 2006, anti-bush, anti-evangelical safe space to last forever.

It definitely has. If you are at least moderately right wing it's either this, TwiXter, or Facebook . The latter is only good as a platform for a pre-established community because conservative content always get muffled in the main page. I stay away from the main feed because it tries to aggressively force troonshit. At this point, FB is only good for talking to family and buying used car parts from local old people.

I've been lurking KF since around 2014-2015 due to CWC, however I only registered in 2023. I am personally very left wing, but it's difficult to not be upset at transgender and left wing activists trying to shut KF down. It's gone to the point where I have no hope of KF returning to the clear net. I think this is the main reason KF seems more right wing. KF would look more left wing if the people attacking it were like fundamentalist Christians back in like the mid 2000s. The enemies of KF end up affecting the POV of KF. That being said, KF is the only place I've seen people unironic defending Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge.

While I understand and agree that banning it would go against the ethos of our Dear Feeders vision for the site. part of me things it should honestly be nuked or something. But then the other part of me says that a freespeech site like this should have a place like A&H, so I guess it is good I do not have to decide. Did he not say on some recent MATI multiple times that that board that A&H causes the most issues? But again, I am not a Jannie or Null, so I am just venting here. The boomer takes, and the Groyper takes are some of the faggiest low-IQ shit that attracts the wrong kind of people to a forum that is built around making fun of lolcows and other retards. But I get it. Some people need a space to say "nigger". But damn, A&N is so low IQ. I am being hyperbolic but fuck it is the worst part of the site. Like /pol/ it spreads its cancer to the rest of the website. It is not even that it is right wing it is just that so many of the posts are low IQ and fucking retarded.

KF is full of terminally online left wingers that screech and bully and whine and cry over everything that goes against their narratives. There are a handful of righties that drop in and mock them, but the lefties definitely outweigh the righties. Even a good chunk of the mod staff are lefties.

I'm gonna take the bait, but are you talking about the whole site in general or A&H? Because there are whole areas that sound like post-2016 /pol/. I think it would be interesting if @Null did some sort of in-house Political Poll. Because if you are correct, then it might be able to help push against the bullshit narrative that this site is full of people who are unironic Nazis.


Maybe we could have a section in the anonymous poll that asks people's race, sex, religion, and idk, political compass coordinates? It might be kinda spergy but it would be interesting to see.

I think it entirely depends on the forums you go into. Some of the AE (anything political) is almost exclusively right wing and it's good for those leftists who enjoy a bash now and again.
 
I've been here less than a year, so I can't really say whether or not KF has changed. What I can say is that there are things said in this thread by oldies that I've seen proof of. It's absolutely true that some of the boards here have a left-wing or right-wing trend to their participating userbase.

I remember chiming in to the abortion debate thread in Deep Thoughts and pointing out how much of a dipshit this leftist was for comparing sperm to fertilized eggs. I made a full biological argument that refuted their bullshit and multiple leftists just went into cognitive dissonance mode. It seems that at least that thread in particular is a proving ground for leftist niglords.
