The current left its essentially anti-liberal, not liberal in the way that word its used here in America but the classic meaning of liberal, that is that there are no sacred cows and freedom of speech sits above everything else.

So what happens is most if not practically all of the people in the left now self-censor themselves to the point that they can't even think outside the bubble themselves in private. Whoever refuses to follow gets kicked out and unpersoned so they might be leftists but they are definitely not in "the left" anymore.

Because of that leftists leave places like the farms where there are no dogmas and you can criticize and even make fun of everything, because they are no longer 'left' as an ideology but 'left' as in a religion, thus why they get so offended and horrified about the things here, or maybe they are afraid that being here might cause a public freudian slip that will get them banned and unpersoned from the leftist inner circle.

I've officially had an account for a year, but have been lurking since 2020 and aware of the Farms as back as 2016. Lolcow antics aside, part of the reason I am even here is because the rest of the internet is pozzed to shit. I've never been active on mainstream social media (thank God), but 4Chan is a terrible dumpster fire of porn addicts and trannies, so it's not even worth going there anymore. As chaotic as this site can be, it's the comfiest place to be.

I don't like null lots of opinions but still I admire his work, his optimism and his podcast where he entertains us by giving us updates on the world and financial Knowledge to survive. I'll admit even in my older accounts I was still a newfag, but I'm not sure how much has changed aside perhaps from growing even less friendly to homosexuals and troons. Null wishes for the forum not to be too much focused in politics so I mostly stay out of it. That said, I'd hate it if it was mostly or totally liberal.

I'm old enough to remember the internet as a whole being overwhelmingly liberal (mind you Chris-chan got a lot of shit for being racist and homophobic), it only turned "right" when the combined powers of finance, entertainment, industry and media adopted liberalism (or liberal ideas) as a flag (The reasons why is another entire conversation) and cranked it to crazy extremes, by the way, a lot of them originating on that internet (Tumblr), if you don't believe, as I do, that the woke stuff that first appeared on Tumblr a decade or so ago was massively astroturfed.

And it only became "far" right once really, really, really outrageous stuff started happening in real life, and in those corners of the Internet that survived a massive, totalitarian effort to control what was being said online, such as this forum.

Overall, I think Kiwi Farms is more anti-woke than anything and very few of our liberals would support it. That said, very few people here are actually fascists or nazis. In all actuality, most of us are just nerds that in a saner world would be considered center leaning liberal or outright apolitical, but we happen not to abide by certain, expansive, increasingly totalitarian bullshit, therefore we're fucking nazis who deserve to day along all three generations up and down our family line.
