Has Null ever considered adding a paywall for making new accounts?

Was rewatching the MaTI on Lowtax and remembered how SA had a paywall as a means to gatekeep any kids out. I have a feeling, given the way the winds are blowing, that eventually people will attempt to migrate to the Farms an masse for whatever reason. In the event that does happen, would adding a paywall be a good way to keep any kids coming to see meemees be a good idea?

Usually when there's an attempt at a mass migration to the Farms, Josh will just temporarily close registrations until all the shit involving it dies down. A recent example that comes to mind is the sharty going down temporarily. During these periods, referal codes can still be given out. It seems to have worked well enough in the past that I don't think he feels the need to completely paywall the site like SA.

Edit: Josh's difficulty with payment processors probably also makes implementing this idea very unviable.
