One time a homestuck fan tried to shoot a fursuiter in the head who was performing on a stage, I don't know when, but it grazed the guy's head instead of killing him.
The fursuit head was exploded on one side and covered in blood; the missed bullet still sliced his head.
Not exactly a fursuit murderer, but still related to furries.

Speaking of homestuck fans, this one isn't attempted murder, but some different homestuck fan threw a steel bucket at another homestuck fan's head because of the lore or something, and it cut their head open leaving them bleeding on the ground.

About the closest thing that comes to mind would be Ed Gein since he wore the skins of his victims, but that doesn't really count.

A few years ago there was a furry that killed the parents of another furry he was trying to get with. The only details I remember were that the killer's furry character was some weird shark/alien thing, and that the girl who he was trying to get with had some seriously fucked up teeth.

Don't forget the Homestuck cosplayer that got skin poisoning from filling a hotel bathtub with Sharpie ink and soaking in it, and ended up having to pay the hotel thousands of dollars in property damage because of it.
