I was actually concerned at the very beginning (late winter/early spring 2020), because of the horror stories out of China and the general lack of concrete info. Stayed home about a month or so, because I believed the "two weeks to slow the spread" meme. Then I noticed they moved the goalpost to "stop the spread". Then when I began to cautiously go outside, I started noticing that people weren't dropping dead in the streets like the videos from China. Then the George Floyd riots happened, and when they weren't immediately suppressed on the basis of "stopping the spread", I realized Covid wasn't a big deal.

What really cemeted this in my mind was the way the media reacted. Those of you that were following the news at the time may recall that there were multiple anti-lockdown protests at the time that were treated negatively by the meida. When the video of Floyd came out, the narrative flipped overnight from "protests bad, stay home" to "yasss forget about Covid and go protest". I realized then that Covid wasn't actually that bad and it was all fearmongering, because none of the BLM people were dying. The media flipping right back to "protests bad, stay home" as soon as Floyd had his day in the sun, only reinforced this. After that, I stopped giving a shit about Covid and resumed life as normal.

Then the vaccine began to roll out at the end of 2020, and I saw how anything negative about the Covid vaccine was systematically supressed, regardless of whether it came from internet randos or from doctors and researchers. The simultaneous suppression of any and all alternate remedies set off alarm bells in my gut, as did the monolithic push to mandate the vaccines no matter what. It occured to me that if this was a "real" pandemic, surely they would be open to as many remedies as possible? And in a "real" pandemic there would be no need to force people to get the cure, they would be rushing to get it of their own volition.

And of course the vaccine was initially claimed to be totally effective, then 95%, then 94%, then 80%....percentage kept dropping. They highlighted "unusual" breakthrough cases, then stopped highlighting them because they became commonplace. Now they want everyone to get boosters because the original vaccines aren't stopping people from getting Covid anymore.

TLDR, I was worried in the beginning but realized it was all bullshit. I'm done giving a shit about it, and I'm not getting the vaccine.

In early 2020 there was a post pointing out a bio-research facility within 300 meters of the wet market that was assumed to have started the mess, I was interested but agnostic about the idea the virus came from the lab.

After Fauci lied to congress about funding gain of function research in China I'm pretty sure the virus was created by a US/China scientific partnership.
I'm still not getting the fast tracked Trump juice squirted into my body, I'll leave that to the test subjects.

I'd give you a winner sticker if I could. Pretty much exactly how I felt this entire time, and I'm sure a lot of other people as well. The fact that so many people didn't notice these things you describe as they were happening is astounding. Even worse are the people that did but shrug it off and try to push the current opinion of the week on you anyway.

Does anyone know if there's a good timeline for media/political/big pharma flip flops throughout the pandemic? Certified autist mentions a few above, but there's a bunch of others as well. One I recall off the top of my head:

- Early 2020 democrats call trump racist for suggesting closing the border. Endorse "Hug A Chinese Day" and encourage people to go out and hug each other
- spring 2020 democrats claim trump was careless not closing the border and if you don't support closing the border and locking down the country you are killing old people and minorities

Since November 2020? No. My opinion changed after the 2020 Chimpouts where seemingly riots and protests were considered totally safe and ok even though we were supposed to be in a super dangerous pandemic. If the governments of the world thought Covid was serious, we wouldn't have seen cockroaches like Trudeau taking part in BLM protests last year.

I remember everyone claiming it was incredibly convenient for a global pandemic to appear at the moment it did, because there were riots everywhere demanding for retarded politicians to take their heads out of their assess. And hell, subsequent riots like the George Floyd ones didnt even impact my perception on a global pandemic at all. At best i was doing my part and staying safe from all the other unvaxxed, unmasked faggots, and at worst, literally another case of overreacting media being the overreactive media it has been for centuries at this point, aka no change.

I waited for a chance to get my shots and now im back to living relatively worry free that all i need is a booster shot and im out of risk of dying from a gay virus. Never once thought it was in any way sane to question people who have way more knowledge of the matter at hand than i do. Never thought these "covid policies" were too much of an issue, barely can stand other motherfuckers on my day to day, so have the perfect excuse to not interact with anyone i dont need to its fantastic.

My perception hasnt changed in the slightest.

Yes I changed my opinion. With a caveat.
The opinion on the vaccine itself is the same. A rushed product, generally effective at what it attempts, if given a free and uncoerced choice I would get a 3rd dose.

The issue that changed is coercion. I am not free anymore not to take it, and actually getting a booster would legitimize all the coercion and restrictions.

So I wont.

The vaccine has become so politicized that I would not take it even if I was told it would give me super strength.

No, I will not bow to demands by fucking liberal politicians to control my health decisions. On principle, whatever the cost, I will reject it.

No, I won't trust any safety studies that come out after >50% of the population has already been vaccinated. At that point, you simply cannot publish any findings that chronic heart inflammation will take 10 years off your life or whatever the case may be. Glowies would shoot you. Any adverse effects have to be buried for public order. We will never hear the real side effects through official channels.

It changed my view of my fellow Americans in a positive way. I used to think Americans were all a bunch of lazy apathetic conformists who had the spirit of liberty beaten out of them by high fructose corn syrup and insipid GloboHomo programming. I would have predicted that things like lockdowns and vaccine mandates would have had almost universal compliance in the USA.

The fact that so many people have been rebelling and continue to rebel against this shit has actually made me prouder to be an American than I ever have been in my entire life. That obstinate individualist "Fuck You" spirit apparently still lives in the heart of many of my countrymen.

Mainly I regret getted it. Now I wasn't sure what think about it at the time. I was going trough completely unrelated personal crises so my caring of anything do with the coof crisis was fairly low even if it was unavoidably present some degree. I wasn't against the covid vaccines but I was getting increasingly worried. I'm not anti vax in general sense at all but the political crap around it was looking ever more insane and the speed of development was far from assuring. Instinctively I avoided thinking about it for long time because I was far from a priority group and I live in a smaller town. I figured that by the time I would qualify probably wouldn't be big deal either way and information about side effects and such would be wildly available. Not exactly what ended up happening as it became available fairly fast and the insane culture is still going strong.

Despite my lack of interest I got the vaccine for two main reasons, I needed to travel internationally and my parents especially my mom really really wanted me to get it. The travel plans ended up getting canceled, that wasn't exactly a surprise but I knew the jab would improve chances so it was a factor. Still my main reason was my parents. My parents knew that I wasn't exactly eager to get the jab and while my dad was content with giving me opportunities to get it, my mom was sure I had fallen into conspiracy theories and polical extremists. It was very clear how worried she was even if she tried not go all in with it. Eventually they managed win over my still milder negative feelings, so I got the jab.

I got some unpleasant side effects but overall not that bad. I mainly regret because the culture factor witch has gotten much worse since I had my jab. This thing is so clearly security theater that's hurting more than it's helping. My current plan is to firm no to all busters and absolute refusal proving my vaccination status outside of situations where I would have needed show I'm up date on vaccines before covid. I have pretty much lived the whole time like there is no covid, and I hold that opinion ever more strongly.

Personally the anti vaxxers and anti maskers have soured my view of people. We're just cattle who'll stray from the herd into the barb wire at a moments notice.

Most the people you faggots call anti-vaxxers are totally cool with every other vaccine cause it was tested and has been in use for decades. This shit was rushed out and is obviously causing abnormally large amounts of side effects, pharma blocked from being sued, pharma doing sketchy deals to make sure nothing can challenge their vaccines, an tons of other things yet we are the problem? Fuck you faggot.

Coope and seethe bum boy, you're suddenly medical experts because of a quick Google browse after decades of uncritically wolfing down whatever meds they overcharge you for and you're upset because you think you outrank the people who are worried the nanomachines will make them vote for Biden?

Lol no, the weirdos are at least funny. You 'repectable' retards are just a chore

Lol, you assume I believe that like the standard dumb nigger cattle you are. Funny that google has to censor search results so you don't see the studies that show'd plenty of promise out of India and even the nobel-prize winning creator saying that it was probably effective considering the way it worked.

So yeah fuck you dishonest nigger.

You realize CNN simps like yourself (assumption) created the majority of the anti vax population with the lies and smugness right? You do realize that right?
