Hasan Piker / HasanAbi - Young Turk, Twitch Streamer, Stunlocked Brogressive, Cenk's Nephew, only a socialist for the money

The funniest and most hypocritical part of all this drama is the fact he only got his foot in the door because of family connections and nepotism lmao. He hasn't exactly worked his ass off has he.
When your own uncle can’t even vouch for you claiming that America deserved 9/11 on TYT, I’m not even sure if he knows that hard work is not the same as making lukewarm shock value content.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about people who buy expensive property only to leave them empty and sell them again a few years later for profit.

In London at it's mostly foreigners (Russians, Chinese, Arabs) who never even enter the country that do this: https://www.theguardian.com/society...-billionaires-row-derelict-mansions-hampstead

He even used the “in a video game, dude” excuse back then? That socialist ain’t right.

Listened to Hasan's defense of his job/lifestyle. It's what I expected. "I don't have the means of production so you can't hate me for being better at my job than you would be."

Has anyone pointed out to Hasan that his Means of Production obfuscation would let a lot of professionals into the "working class"? And that his job is very easy, lacking any meaningful component of Labor that Marx would have recognized? And that hanging off of how Marx technically defined the classes from an age well before the digital and information ages is dumb?
He might be able to wriggle out of this but the point is he has to contort himself more and more to do so. And that's the goal for anyone trying to taint his name and brand. Make him defend the indefensible.
This is how effective atheist propaganda worked: force religious people to compromise their own credibility and the kids will notice.

This is what happens in socialism guys in case the young generation forgot or is too obsessed with tiktok to read actual examples.
The ones who tell you they will take care of you and mean you well, will close your factory, leave you unpaid and in an employement limbo, and take all the funds to buy themselves houses, cars, boats.
But unlike us 90's kids in eastern europe with parents who had so little to afford thanks to socialists, you can see it happen indirectly with a streamer.
Lying and gaslighting is what socialists and commies do best.

What about the people that already do his job better than him? Hasan is at the bottom tier of React Andys, who are already the bottom tier of Twitch content.

Not only that, but Hasam does have the means of production, it ain't factories and machines from the industrial revolution, but money, AKA, CAPITAL!

one of the big argument for the lefties bullshit is about cooperative work enviros, meaning, they gather capital and create the democratic work places in order to make a product that rivals the captalist coorporations and thus changing the business landscape and the socio-economic balance.

So, by having this capital reach that few do, it would be Hasam's moral obligation to reach with his riches the workers and help them rise by making jobs where they have a say.

Of course I don't expect Hasam to do that, that would be ridiculous, however, that is the logic that Hasam audience operates and he caters to that, so you gotta be the extra special kind of dense to think that flexing your mansion won't gather you a backlash from your audience.

Jezz this is dumb, I don't like to make any sort of calls, but I get this feeling this dumbass won't be around for long. I mean, he won't go away, DSP showed us that even if a vestigial audience you can get by, but as a relevant figure, I think Hasam won't be with us for long, I suggest to get that young pussy while you still can.

Marx would have put Hasan in the gentry class (i.e. the aristocracy, who can live off their land/savings/assets etc without doing their own physical labour). Marx didn't focus on the gentry because capitalism and free trade had already bankrupted a lot of them and his entire point was to continue this momentum downwards to the new bourgeoisie class that was replacing them.

People like Hasan always "conveniently" forget about step 1 of the revolution (feudalism => capitalism) and want to skip straight to step 2 (capitalism => socialism) in the hopes that it leaves them alone. Why is the slang word for expensive stuff "bougie" and not "aristie"? People have been tricked into ignoring the class at very the top.

The religious comparison works well with this. It's the same as a homophobic pastor getting caught at a gay bar, it really torpedoes their argument.

People use the term bougie because to be bourgeois is to flaunt your wealth in gaudy, tasteless ways, as opposed to aristocrats supposedly having taste and restraint.

I like that he keeps using capitalist ideals to defend himself. "If I'm better at my job than you, I deserve more money!"

Which if you actually study history is pretty much the exact opposite of what happened thus further proving the aboves point

Eh, yes and no. Aristos were gaudy motherfuckers, but they'd refined themselves and were sitting on inherited gaudiness when the bourgeois stepped onto the scene. Good contemporary literary references to this would be Madame Bovary and The Idiot, both of which describe the social differences between nobility and the bourgeoisie.

You hear that guys? As long as you run literally any tech company, socialist values don't apply since the coders, freelancers, and project managers are the means of production anyway. Really, any service company ever would be a similar loophole.
