Hasan’s problem is that he hates his viewers and would rather do any other stream than this political shit, but he’s stuck with it because every time he tries another type of stream, his views fall drastically.

Because he's not really that interesting of a person or that good of an entertainer. The only two reasons people watch him is to thirst over him, or because they actually agree with his dogshit political takes because they're retarded or underage (but I repeat myself). In terms of entertainment value, he has absolutely nothing that someone can't get elsewhere when he isn't talking politics, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't want a chat full of homos and fat chicks lusting after him to be the only way he makes money because it'll just turn into the same shit he has now: A job he doesn't want because he thinks he's too good for it.

My guess would be that his audience - which skews younger - is growing out of their Hasan phase, and they're not being replaced at the same rate by new fans because Hasan likes to cower in his echo chamber 24/7. I think he chose Pierce Morgan's show to rectify this and promote himself more because he sees Pierce as an intellectual inferior, which makes him feel safe.
