That makes perfect sense, but I honestly think the biggest issue is jealousy. They want those numbers and that much clout so badly. I'm sure the faggot culture war shit has a tiny bit to do with it, but it's mostly just deep seated jealousy.
To put a finer point on it, Rogan is fucking massive in both the internet and non-internet spheres. Something Hasan, Ethan and company can't really say. The internet audience is obvious and most of us know about it. Its the non-internet group that pisses these pearl clutching asswipes off because they have nowhere near the same appeal.
Once upon a time in 2018, I attended Jordan Peterson's book talk tour. I barely remember anything he said but I do remember he mentioned that Rogan's listener count was in the millions and that made Rogan the most popular interviewer in the history of media.
Tbf I've been listening to Rogan's podcast for a long time and he's always been willing to point out that he got lucky in a lot of ways. He just happened to walk by a martial arts gym at the right time when he was a kid, his mom married a decent guy after his dad ran out on them, he got a big break with that sitcom he did before Fear Factor, that sort of thing. It's what makes him more respectable than a lot of these lying fucks like Hasan who want to pretend they worked for everything when Uncle Cenk handed him a six-figure job at TYT with 0 qualifications.
