It’s pretty baffling he thinks this way. My status kinda says this for me, but in case it changes, I’ll put it here- “Obstacles are opportunities for those in need.” And in this case, there is a great need for Hassan- to improve his skills not only as a debater, but someone who should know what they’re talking about.
By having other people hold him accountable for all of his opinions, old and new, good or bad, it helps someone learn without the urge to tear it down in shame or absorb in it in great pride if someone else put’s the mirror to your face to see all of your flaws. It helps you realize your past mistakes, or feel further invigorated in your past opinions, and help reinforce why you were wrong or right, and all the while, improving for it.
This is good! This is a good thing for someone who wants to pride themselves on any type of public speaking or political discussion. Being able to own up to all of you and be better for it is what people look for in others- the ability to improve and move on. But Hasan has chosen not to, and aggressively so- threatening the people that are friends and foes. Blind retribution for your own actions is a fool’s task, and when completed only solidifies yourself as such.
For the people’s man and socialist advocate, he sure isn’t the people’s person.
It’s just kind of a failure on all front’s as anything involved in what he claims to be well known for.
