I still hold that it takes a special form of entertainer to be remotely good at streaming. Strong audience interaction, creativity, and a charismatic performance are essential, and most can only make funny faces at other people's content. Jerma is one of the few people I consider a good streamer, and he started as a YouTuber uploading play sessions rather than beginning on Twitch. Most people just can't build the style that makes Jerma iconic.
The interesting thing about these thumbnails on that tier list is that they look like avatars that are either influenced by anime or they belong on Reddit.
I can acknowledge that despite how fast the schtick gets old, Dr. Disrespect actually puts effort in his character & production. It's somewhat like a show instead of the same unwashed streamer in his room like he's 15 in a desperate attempt to seem "rElAtEaBlE".
Dr. Disrespect and Jerma985 are the only two streamers I know of that actually try.
I'd add Tyler1 into that as well, it takes an iron will and insane strength to play the hell spawn known as League of Legends for 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, and stay energetic and entertaining the entire time. He himself has said that no one wants to watch someone sit there and be boring/sound tired on stream, so he does his best to keep it fun (he even made and hosted two of his own LoL tournaments when he was banned from the game and paid the prize pool out of his own pocket). He also seems like a chill guy outside of his streams and I've never once seen him start bitching about politics or some other gay shit.
Thats the reason he's the only streamer I ever watch even after I stopped playing League. He's entertaining and almost always full of energy, comes off as a sincere guy and he never, ever brings up politics. I've been watching him for years and I have no idea if he's left or right wing, thats how much he avoids this topic.
Kitboga is very good as well. He is actually creative with what he does.
