Hasan is fat. He used to be muscular and reasonably low body fat, as a male model. Then he started streaming and got more and more fat. He’s so close to being self aware. He criticizes billionaires for not using their wealth and influence to further socialism but then when people ask him if he should be doing more with his he turns around and says how can you expect me to do anything.

I think he legitimately has <90 IQ. I remember Null mentioned on the podcast that people below 90 IQ can’t understand hypotheticals. At the end of the Destiny video there’s a clip of Hasan talking to h3h3 where h3h3 asks him if someone has excess wealth whether it’s ethical for them to keep it for themselves. h3h3 asks the question 3 times and each time Hasan can only talk about how he spends his money. The guy really cannot understand this very simple hypothetical.

To play devil's advocate, there is indeed nothing that Hasan or the other Internet talking heads can do to further Socialism in the US. I think it's clear to rightoids and lefties that trying to change the system by using the system isn't a viable option anymore. Real change will have to come from the outside, or from subversive elements within the system that will oust the old guard once their power and influence have sufficiently waned. I can't see homosexuals on Twitch having the balls or the brains to get involved in a plan where violence is guaranteed and death or lifetime incarceration are real consequences should they fail

I think it's clear to rightoids and lefties that trying to change the system by using the system isn't a viable option anymore. I'd argue modern pop-politics makes it potentially possible. But the people needed to have a populist come to power are people that are uncomfortable with being uncomfortable.
In the past it tended to be members of the working class with little to their name.
But if you said that to achieve a socialist utopia these people would have to burn their Funko's, vintage tour shirts, kick a cat and starve for a week it'd be too much to bare.
It's escapism, life isn't that hard if you live in any of the first world.

Rate me late, but I just found out that Hasan is on finasteride. Anyone who has paid more attention to this turkroach, is it likely that he's actually gotten dumber from finasteride poisoning over the last few years? He's always seemed incredibly dumb to me, but I only recently started paying closer attention to him.

I disagree, but even if we do accept the premise that there is literally nothing you can do to further socialism... then why the fuck is he building a career off of pushing this completely unobtainable idea? If he really believes that the only way to further socialism is for a significant portion of the billionaire class to come together and push a socialist revolution themselves (he says that one billionaire isn't enough to make socialist change), then why is he distracting everyone from the only actually effective method of making the change that he wants to see?

I'm having a hard time seeing how anything he's doing is ethical if we accept his arguments, it's at best pointless but in all likelihood counter-productive.
