I thought he was going to cause significant second hand embarrassment. To my complete surprise, he seemed very reasonable and a decent guest for a show like this in the first 5 minutes or so. Then he went completely overboard and calls piers and himself a propagandist, which is just really weird and a complete disconnect for everyone who isn't a memes overloaded internet fellow (as any kiwi would be). But it's easy to recognize how weird he must come across for that for most people.
With previous palestine-aligned speakers they all had questions for Piers that he just could not answer without putting himself at odds with the israelian censors, and as such, Piers refused to answer them (one time by saying "it's not my job to answer questions" and another by "if you don't answer my questions, why should I answer yours?"
Hasan instead fails and asks: "If they had said that the october 7 attacks were brutal and massacres occured, and then they said everything else, and that israel is committing war crimes.... would you agree with them?"
Which Piers answers with "Is Israel not allowed to defend itself from the worst terror attack we've seen since 9/11? Is it not allowed to defend itself when 1400 people were butchered?" and instead of hammering how he didn't answer the question (as he should have), he starts talking about himself being a dumb idiot that has a twitch stream. He made Piers' job so easy.
Also how hard is it to pronounce ramallah for a turk? Even E Michael Jones pronounces it better when he talks about how israel sniped people going to hospitals.
