He's a bridge between old media and new, every time Hasan is on a mainstream panel or debate, it legitimizes Twitch as a service, and not just some gay app kids use for video games. His viewer numbers help for ad revenue as well. In a worst case scenario, Twitch doesn't want a slow public decline of the likes you see in e-sports, where "new cool thing" is unprofitable and not gaining wide acceptance by old boomers. They don't want to look like ESPN4 streaming League of Legends competitive matches.

The other thing is Hasan will never attack the things they've said about him. Not once will he try to address their points; which is unsurprising, because the points are usually accurate with regards to him. All he can do is insult them, ban them or just ignore them.
