I seriously don't get the appeal of the Cumtown guys. Admittedly, they're less loathsome than Hasan but they're still some of the least funny "comedians" I've seen that aren't friends of Joe Rogan. The Adam Friedland Show is just a pale, pale, pale imitation of Between Two Ferns, except he stretches it out 10x and puts in 1/10th the effort and has 1% of the charm of Zach Galifianakis. You don't need to be a mathemagician to see that it's not a formula for success, but somehow he still has fans.
I think it's old fashioned, early '00s college era charisma. There is a genuine gap and demand for white dudes that are broadly and simply liberal, not for debate purposes but just simplistic beliefs. Abortion good becuz no child support cases, women in HR good becuz I don't care I already have a job with my dad's company, etc. People will naturally gravitate towards them and their CollegeHumor dot com vibe because they aren't trying to run discourse like a fucking mafia or pushing crazy deviant cuck shit every stream.
I've only seen a few of them but I thought he seemed to be trying to mash up 'The Dick Cavett Show' and 'Between Two Ferns' without the Wit and Charm of Cavett or the Humor and Delivery of Galifianakis.
