I remember when I first heard of DudePerfect, just like I remember 9/11. I was in my social studies class in high school and one of my friends was talking about this YouTube clip of "some guys from [the local college] did all these cool trick shots". They went from the individualized unique nature of YouTube to the cancerous "brands" that the platform puts above all else.

Personally I am team nothing ever happens, I will be shocked if anything comes of this specifically because Hasan has been doing things like this for years at this point with no repercussions. Even with the apology tour uncle chunk made him take after the "America deserved 9/11 incident" He's doubled down on that and nothing has come of it. It'll be memoryholed within a week if that.

That's actually kind of based.

He rejects reality and just makes up his own. I guess it works out for him considering where he lives and how much he makes. I'm not sure he (and Twitch) can survive getting called out after that shooting.

It would be funny if the Israelis pulled the same thing with Hasan that they did with the last guy they executed, Adolph Eichmann, if only for the inevitable chimpouts in court that would probably lead him to be restrained and wheeled into court like Hannibal Lecter, but it would be difficult to send a Mossad team to the US and kidnap an American citizen.

Then again, Hasan is dumb enough and horny enough for them to pull a Mordechai Vanunu and set up a honey pot for him to go to another country for them to capture him and then extradite him from there. Really the possibilities are endless.

The Coachella stuff got people mad, with calls for their visas to be revoked, and then the videos from the 2024 UK concert started getting posted around, which led to a police investigation in the UK, and now one member (Liam O'Hanna, the kinda ugly chubby one) has been charged with terrorism offenses, as Hezbollah is a proscribed organization in the UK and so you legally cannot show support for them

I'm frankly annoyed they never got in trouble for taking the head of the statue of George V in their Melbourne concert and saying that this is what happened to colonizers ... in a country built by colonists to a concert of colonist descendants.

In a way, Kneecap are very much like Hasan. They're internet edgelords appropriating the aesthetic of violent leftist groups and making edgy statements about killing conservatives and supporting Islamist terrorist groups while joining the Neolilberal elite in condemning their own countrymen protesting about mass immigration to Northern Ireland. Like Hasan, they also get way too much establishment support and are desperately pretending they're not hate-filled LARPers.
