Journalists did this with tranny Youtuber Contrapoints half a decade ago. In 2018-2020, a lot of media outlets published articles and/or news reports (VICE) about how he was going to save society from the alt-right and TERFs with his slop essay videos.
Not did that not happen, but Contrapoints has now been cancelled by his own fanbase over a dozen times for acts of wrongthink – mostly "transphobia" and "zionism". Five years ago, it was hard to imagine that he would be cancelled for any of those things. Yet here we are.
In five years time, Hasan will very likely have done something that will have caused his fanbase to turn against him and cancel him for not being radical enough and/or wrongthink.

THe tranny's PR blitz also worked alot better because he has much better impulse control and a thicker skin as well than Hasan who has whined about viewer count since I've been aware of him, before this year I just thought of him as the leftoid who ate chicken and rice on stream and argued all day with his chat about trivial shit, now he spergs all day about his image and obsesses about asmongold giving his detractors constant content.

For all the criticism of NPR, their pop culture podcasts are an especially toxic breed with absolutely no sense of professionalism or desire to be fair.
I've never listened to It's Been a Minute, but one thing I do remember is that that dipshit Sam Sanders left the NPR Politics Podcast to host it so there's no way it's an exception to the usual rules about NPR pop culture podcasts.
I had a guy unironically (as far as I could tell) argue that Hasan is clearly very smart because he can spot negative comments in his fast-moving chat and he uses that same incredible ability to gather, process, and synthesize information to create thoughtful political takes.

For a man of his size, 225 is the furthest thing from impressive; if he were my size and not taking insane amounts of PEDs then maybe it'd be something to note. It'd be embarrassing if he couldn't. He lives in a mansion and doesn't have a real job. He should have a great personal gym setup that allows him to do a comprehensive workout on a near daily basis. If I were a lazy streamer instead of a suit and tie nigga, I'd be at the gym every day for over an hour working out, hitting my macros, etc. Hasan has literally no excuse to not be a bodybuilder.
