I have been trying to read more this year. I have started by reading "Industrial Society and its Future" By Theodore Kaczynski. Honestly, It was a very good read and it provided some insight into current societal issues.

Here's some books that I am planning on reading this year (I may add some books by HP Lovecraft if I get far enough into this list.):
  • The Metamorphoshis (Re-read).
  • Wuthering Heights.
  • The Stranger.
  • Demian.
  • Hell Screen.
  • American Psycho (The book).
  • No Country for Old Men (The book).
  • The Vippu Drawing Manual.
  • Realistic Figure Drawing by Joseph Sheppard.
Are you reading any books or planning on reading any? Is there any that you would recommend?

I can't really remember if I've mentioned it before, but every now and then, I read Sharpe's Command. The more I read of it, the more appreciate it. The battle/scouting plans and the banter are engaging, but perhaps it helps that I used to binge-watch the ITV series. They take the piss out of Big Nosed Arthur (the Duke of Wellington) in both the series, and the books, as well.

Re-reading Stephen King's The Stand. I read it for the first time shortly after the original mini-series aired. That was a really, really long book for a kid but I loved it. Still holds up today.

I've started reading Robinson Crusoe. Hadn't the foggiest that his old man would be a German merchant, who moved to Hull, then up to York, where his youngest son, Robinson (of course) would be born. Crusoe's original family name is Kreutznaer.
