Have you ever had a good idea for a movie?

I've always thought about a movie that's sort of a parody of Back To The Future Part II when a kid builds a time machine to go to 2015 and he is disappointed when there aren't any flying cars or hoverboards. Maybe the time machine malfunctions and he has to make his way back to the 80's somehow. I don't know.

I thought of making a dated space adventure, using the predictions and technology of the 60's/70's -- but I couldn't think of anything re: plot. I think Hollywood is making something like it now anyways.

Know how it seems like every court movie centers around a guy who didn't do whatever it is that he's accused of doing? And how sometimes, the guy who actually did do it just happens to be in the courtroom during the trial? I'd like to do a twist on that. It's presented like your standard court story. It makes you think that the protagonist is innocent and being falsely accused. At the end, he's proven innocent, and the real bad guy is found out and put away...but then it's revealed that the protagonist really did do it, and was just extremely manipulative and able to sway everyone over to his side. The person that got found out as the "real" perpetrator was actually innocent, and the "protagonist" convinced everyone that he was guilty. There would be subtle clues hinting at this, but they wouldn't really be noticeable until one rewatches the movie.

I'm pretty sure that there has been something like that done. I know there was one where the guy convinced everyone he had an evil split personality (or something), but he actually didn't and knew it the whole time, and went free (I forgot the name of the movie, but sorry if I spoiled it for you)

Sounds like Primal Fear, where the murderer was Ed Norton's first big role.

Some idea I once had for a better version for the Green Lantern movie:

The movie focusses mostly on Hal Jordan (after getting the ring by Abin Sur) being immediately transported to Oa, where at first the Guardians want to take away his ring, considering earth unworthy to be represented in the Corps. But as it turns out, the ring can't be removed and Jordan immediately proves he actually can use the ring subconsciously rather well. Being offered to stay at the Corps while the Guardians try to find out why Abin crashed on Earth (he was previously missing for months, supposedly investigating a big scheme by some enemies of the Guardians) , Hal is trained and eventually picks the curiosity of Sinestro. Sinestro, who wants to find out what happened to his friend Abin, decides to do his own investigation and forces/asks Jordan to help him, as Abin supposedly passed secret information on Hal also, Sinestro only was supposed to receive. Together they eventually find out that members of the Spider Guild are planing an uprising of the Manhunters, who serve the Corpse currently together with the regular Lanterns. But while they supposedly stop the guild, they are playing also in the hands of a certain member of the Guardians. Said member is Krona, who worked with the Spider Guild and has actually manipulated the Manhunters for centuries as his personal little army to cause conflict behind the back of his fellow guardians, to strengthen the Guardian's position as protectors of the universe. But now he has grown tired of the state of the universe and after researching the emotional spectrum for some decades, he has invented a machine that will allow him to manipulate the emotional spectrum directly and turn every living creature in the universe into an emotionless, willing, "good behaving" slave. Abin Sur had by accident discovered Kronas connection to the Spider Guild while investigating some other crime and wanted to warn his fellow Lanterns before he could initiate his plan, but Krona made sure his ship crashed on Earth first.
Supported by some other Lanterns, Sinestro and Hal manage to defeat Krona and destroy his doomsday device, which seems to take Krona's life. Jordan proves himself worthy of being a Lantern and the remaining Guardians decide to let him stay Abin's succesor, who then returns to earth and starts his life as earth's Lantern.

There was a british comedy like this, we used to have a rather "meh" science and technology show called tomorrows world, some one spoofed it quite well.

An epic Sci-fi/art house film called Meat Monsters from Mars. I don't know what it would be about, but it would have a lot of splatter effects and no professional actors whatsoever.
I also was thinking of a B-Movie where there is a party hosted by a demonic alien cult and they slowly kill everyone off in gruesome ways, with the lowest budget possible.

Macbeth set in the Mad Max universe, because why the hell not.

They should make a movie alerting people to the danger of SJWs taking over all world governments before it's too late.

don't you have a good zombie survival story that could be a movie?
