Have you ever (spontaneously, without you trying to aid it) been recognized in another place?

I don't throw myself out there so-to-speak, but this week someone came to me and someone else (maybe they weren't sure who was who, and side note, I can typically tell who has come to know me on their own because in my experience, as you get more and more known for any reason, it's those with a strong dislike for the subject who catch on first as is the case here) and was like "hey, you're [me], *f-word* you" in complete Louis CK style (not word for word). I could almost even hear Louis CK's voice as they said that too. It was completely out of nowhere and it's these kinds of things that make you wonder "what did I do that secret caught someone's attention". It took me a while to realize they knew my artist self and didn't like my style.

Yes, actually. An old friend I knew from childhood recognized me one day, it was cool seeing him after so long. Another time, I bumped into my 5th grade teacher at a medical facility. More recently, a judge who's zoom courtroom is open to the public and of which I regularly spectate; recognized me and introduced herself; it was neat seeing her in person.

But what you're describing is obviously more negative...I don't think I have an equivalent experience for something like that.

Oh and I've also met 2 kiwis in person but I don't know their screen names nor even remember what their names were; but they were familiar with the farms and it was cool to meet someone else outside of here that's familiar with the site.

People will bring me grapes wherever I go.

I can't help it, they just do.

It's quite funny, whenever I leave my home to see the streets clear out and people heading to markets or supermarkets to get grapes.

It does get a bit cumbersome when they come back with their offering.

I don't go out much, unless I want grapes.

Once about ten years ago when I went to go grocery shopping a classmate of mine was working the register and we chatted for about 5 minutes.

Otherwise I'm pretty reclusive.

no, i get confused with other people all of the time, idk I guess I have a very generic face because at least one a month someone will come up to me thinking im someone they know, or will ask me if I have a brother. just the other week, i had a guy come up to me and confuse me for his sister's ex-fiance.

I get "recognized" constantly and it freaks me out every time because I'm both short-sighted and really bad at remembering names and faces.
I (literally) don't see it coming, and I often can't tell who I'm talking to until they're about 15ft away unless they have a very distinctive silhouette or voice, which leads to a lot of awkward moments when people I haven't seen in a decade or longer reappear and at first think that I'm snubbing them or just pretending not to know them.
Happens with customers at work too, the job isn't busy but my memory is bad enough that people will resume a conversation over the counter we were having last week and it takes me time to connect the dots.

Once, after I had moved to the other side of the world and lived there for several years, I went back to a city where I had lived before.
As I was walking down the sidewalk a girl I had dated a few times spotted me in a neighborhood we had never been to together in a city of more than 20 million people and recognized me. It wasn't anywhere near her house but I guess she knew I had lived in that district.
I just pretended I didn't recognize her and kept walking. She messaged me later saying she saw someone who looked like me, so I know it was really her. I replied a few hours later to say I was still on a different continent.

This sentence was fucking brutal to read. You don't know how to punctuate, and you are truly horrible at expressing your ideas.

while doing some trade work I went to a supply store and a black man working there recognized me and named me from when I was in MIDDLE SCHOOL, I can't remember a single person from middle school besides one odd girl and I certainly cant remember anyone's name.

Kiwis ITT outing themselves as city-dwelling bugmen. I used to work at a bar a couple streets down from my former high school and it was pretty much a daily occurrence.

One time I had to go to court and the judge recognized me and said, "The court is no stranger to Mr. Sparkletor's antics". I felt pretty cool to be recognized for my achievements.
