Speaking of Julie, I noticed a minor change on her Twitter.
It used to say "Shona in Gen_zed, launching Nov 2015!"

And now...

After watching the VO Reel video, I should've realized that he wasn't the narrator since there was no accent and there'd be no reason for him to cover it up or something. If we assume that the IMDB wasn't messed with in some way (and knowing our friend it's not out of the question he might've made "corrections") what the hell did happen with the Black version of the videos? What happened that made Yahoo decide to redub all of the episodes he did with a new VO?
 
I dunno if this was posted, but his interview on Planet Transgender is enlightening. Oh, and I'm mentioned again as "a single girl." I really may have been the only one for all I know.

He's supposedly capable of doing various accents, both British and American.

She didn't appreciate the way they portrayed trans characters.
Only Gen Zed and its "You're trans? That takes balls!" jokes is true and honest trans representation.


And I can't resist throwing in a link to Haydenism Inc. 's website, beacuse even if it's nearly empty, the webdesign is something to behold.

to be fair the same could be said of tumblr but really if they could write joke Gen Zed would be slightly better just slightly

So basically they were rude to a person who asked them a question, and when the person responded they basically said it's their fault for getting so mad about a joke.

Also I :heart-full: how Black says anon is going to Hell for asking an anonymous question. How dare they use one of Tumblr's most basic features.

Also, speaking as someone who's seen the entirety of SVU and is a huge fan, i'll totally admit that when they try to tackle real world issues it can be kind of dumb and soapboxy. (See episodes "Game" "Selfish" "Comic Perversion", and of course the infamous "Intimidation Game") However, that article seems to imply that the episode is trying to discuss current transgender issues, which the show should be more than capable of, although I haven't seen it yet. They've had a transgender episode, called "Transitions", which dealt with a mtf trans kid and her struggle with her father who didn't want him to transition. I'm not sure how accurate it was, but at least as far as I remember I don't think it was offensive.

Although I'm sure Goldstein would just complain about the new episode, as well as the old "Transitions" episode for not hiring her 6 years ago and for being so super duper problematic you guys.

Hayden is super dedicated to the "Twitter jokes = amazing hilarious show", isn't he? I think literally every single show he's attempted to make has had some form of his Twitter jokes on them.

I really think we should have a Hayden Black thread so we can focus this one just on Gen Zed. Their twitter and FB replies mostly since the show will never haven't aired yet. I mean, by now we have more than enough material to believe that Hayden Black is a lolcow on himself without the need of Gen Zed. Just an opinion though.

theres no real reason to make two threads. Anything that gets posted in one will just get posted in the other anyway. When Gez Zed fails and disappears, @Ass Manager 3000 can just change the thread name and we'll continue on.

Gen zed is still the reason we're here. When we would get more information it would get cross posted to both threads. Makes sense to have one thread for all info, at least until gen zed collapses.
