More blatant exploitation of Maddie Blaustein for publicity purposes:
View attachment 49435

So now her achievements are ~so important~ to them?

Honestly, sort of actually digging up her corpse and propping it up to give a fake interview, I feel they can't get any more disrespectful.
Take a close look at that first tweet. Goldsteinvis saying her views mirror Blaustein's, and that people who enjoy her work should actually listen to her words.

So basically what Goldstein is saying is, "If you disagree with me, you're also disagreeing with Blaustein!"

I never realized until now how much one could hate a person! Thanks Goldstein!

Also, more interviews.

I adore the page description under the interview stream. It's all of Hayden's wikipedia page, with the couple of sentences on Gen Zed's promo.

It's amazing that he's getting all this publicity, though. Some of it engineered, to be sure. But we have posted interviews, videos of the boring panel, and articles (often just recycled from other articles).

And there still doesn't seem to be much support from the LGBT community or the tumblr snowflakes? It's amazing.

Again with the weird sexual fixation. And he claims the focus isn't that she's trans.

Nice try, Hayden, but it's pretty obvious you didn't put much thought ito her character beyond her being trans.
And maybe, just maybe, you should've marketed your show another way rather than blather on and on about the FIRST TRANS ACTRESS IN A TRANS ROLE EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD EVER or whatever.

Well they've tried to sell their shit to a lot of SJ-focused websites, but none of them are very big. They have yet to hit a major outlet.
And whatever efforts they put in their communication plan are constantly undermined by their immature and unprofessional behaviour on social media.

They're completely lacking in subtlety: they didn't put much effort in producing the show (shit-tier animation, lazy writing), they didn't bother researching their target audience before their terribly hamfisted attempts at marketing (the offensive jokes are particularly ill-suited to a Tumblr audience and the whole Meowth fisaco pissed off a lot of trans people), they blatantly whore out their merch and they constantly antagonise people on every social media platform.
That's enough to alienate most of their supposed fanbase.

Couldn't this tweet be seen as transphobic for implying Steven Tyler is really a woman/ Janice Dickinson is really a man?
You're right! Which means Hayden is probably attracted to Janice Dickinson, seeing as how that would make her like a transgender woman.

Also, as someone mentioned earlier, Goldstein seems to be in on the scam, due to her behavior. And we know Black is attracted to trans females, so is this like a Bonnie and Clyde situation? Two lovers take the money and try to run?

It would be a better story than Gen Zed's going to be that's for sure.

The more I'm reading over this, the more it's becoming apparent that these people are a P.R. agent's worst nightmare.
Also, I know it's a little late to mention this, but fuck yeah Iron Liz! Mad props to her for calling that bullshit out for what it is.

So this basically confirms GamerGate mocking in Gen Zed.

I'm honestly more annoyed by the VA complaining about how another transwoman has the gall to "be a proponent of the Harry Benjamin syndrome." Y'know, because seeing a medical condition as a medical condition and not a fashion accessory is a bad thing.

So, how long before we get an episode where Shona has to deal with them vile truscum and their horrible gate-keeping doctors/psychologists/endocrinologists?

"That is clear harassment, delete everything now! You have the right to free speech unless you're being a meanyhead to me! Support Gen Zed Patreon!"

I am honestly surprised they don't have a Patreon.

They will pretty soon, I'm sure.

If you listen to the interview, right about the 1:12:00-1:17:00 is when Hayden actually confesses he's attracted to transwomen. There we have it.

So Trans Mary Sue is his waifu? No wonder she seems so perfect.

Here's the OP's explanation to that Tumblr post a few pages ago.

All I'm saying to this is that I have a feeling this could also be posted in the Steven Universe fandom thread.

I don't remember Steven Universe being a blatant cash grab and progressive exploitation, but the fans aren't helping.

Going back to the show itself, have they given any details about Bugs, the game that they play, other than the fact that it's an "MMO FPS RPG" sort of game? Because other shows that are based around games make the game simple enough to understand, regardless of whether or not the game itself is simple or complex as a whole, like the Yu-Gi-Oh series. And they sure give enough details about the game in their promos that Gen Zed has so far not done.

I'm pretty sure it was the game they were playing in the animatic.

Not that it told us anything about the game either.

Well it would make sense to make the game not too complicated, since the show is supposed to be about the players rather than the game. In something like Yugioh the game was complicated in a way that if you just got dropped in a match with no knowledge, you'd probably be pretty lost. But that works because the entire series was based around the game, or at least the Duelist series was. Bugs will probably be pretty easy to follow, probably just a "shoot the bad guys" simple style game with social elements so they can play together.

But that's only if the writer does something smart, so we can assume it will probably be way too needlessly complicated.

It's literally just and online version of Galaga, from the way they talk about it it's like nobody on the staff has any idea what a video game is. They claim it's supposed to be an mmo or something, but I'm pretty sure that was just them repeating some random words they heard somebody say when they talked about video games. Like, i honestly don't understand why they'd base the show around something they know fuck all about, other than to pander.

If they really wanted to portray a trans character as human they would have never mentioned that she is trans. They would have made it something that is maybe hinted at or later in the show comes up but not the one big core thing about the character.

But I don't know any transgender people so maybe I'm wrong, maybe they do walk around mentioning they are trans every other sentence.
