In the old Meowth VA's case, the situation was actually a case of what they are now calling Intersex, which is actually a whole other kettle of fish in terms of "trans" than Julie, because such a person really could go either way in terms of "picking one" because they are legitimately BOTH. There's some intersex people that haaaaaaaaaaaaaaate trans people, and vice versa.

Right, I nearly forgot about that. But while she was born intersex, she was still assigned male at birth & later transitioned, effectively making her trans. But yeah, based on Julie's behavior towards pretty much everything, she likely would think an intersex person wouldn't be a "real tranny" or some nonsense. I also wasn't aware of there being enough intersex people to have a group to create friction with, but alas.
Really though, I think Julie's biggest point of contention with Maddie is that the former was pretty much touted as THE FIRST TRANS VOICE ACTRESS IN A LEADING ROLE IN THE HISTORY OF EVER---only to find that she was not only was she beaten to the punch by nearly two decades, but also by a far superior actress.
TL;DR Julie's assblasted that a dead woman stole her thunder.

Either one or all of his parents told him he was not only funny all the time, but all special always all the time 24/7/365. I was as surprised as you when I found out there's friction between intersex and trans, but I found it while browsing some blogs on wordpress a while back and this one intersex person was spewing all kinds of TERF nonsense about trans people (like seriously, the conspiracy theory that trans women who prefer women are really just straight males who will go to ANY lengths to trick lesbians into sleeping with them, is right up there with the things preppers go on about and New World Order tinfoil hattery), particularly trans women, and saying that intersex people don't like trans people.

I think this isn't a cash grab. I think he honestly wants to get cash to make his legacy. We've seen how he keeps trying to make [and fail] historic films. He goes into debt, he avoids taxes, all for what? He names a company after himself (Haydenism), he inserts himself into every one of his productions as the smart guy, and he writes one of the puffiest of puff pieces on Wikipedia.

Take for instance this line:

"In 2012, Black starred in the Richard Schiff-produced web series "Chasing The Hill", a political drama, alongside Robin Weigert, Matthew Del Negro and Sharon Lawrence."

Notice the word "starred". Starring means something akin to, say, lead role, right? Yet we can't find evidence of his "starring" as anything more than a reporter who tries to get a sound bite from a politician in passing.

He's sounding more and more desperate. Like he revels in the supposed controversy, but at the same time, realizes it's hurting him so he's trying to, once again, puff himself up with the "press" section.

*Edited to add: I'll smear the disagree rating-giver, then praise the optimistic rating giver. But yeah, I realized I just described narcissism, and not desperation.
