Eve is posing as Lilith, according to leaks. Where exactly she is and what she's doing is another matter but apparently this is all some sort of revenge plan of hers.

They haven't exactly been subtle about Lilith being shady, either, with their insistance on not showing her face. Compare the official card of Lilith and the flashback in episode 5 to how Eve appears in episode 1:

I just realized, is the implication of this scene supposed to be Eve started posing as Lilith when Charlie was still young? Because Charlie is like 200+ years old and I assumed Viv was going for Charlie reaching maturity at a fairly normal age before she just stops aging.

I can really hear the influence from Lin-Manuel Miranda and (probably?) Avenue Q. I dunno about anyone else, but I really wish this trend in musicals of lazily slapped together "spoken word" lyrics would fucking die already. Every vocalist sounds like they're struggling to sing because the lyrics are awkward and don't flow naturally, but I guess that's just the fashion right now?

Also, when Angel hits those high notes in "Loser Baby" I instantly hear Spongebob.

That spoken word with consistent rhyming thing is called "Patter" and probably one of the oldest theatrical techniques.

People associated it with Lin Miranda but it was popularized by Gilbert and Sullivan.

It's probably something to do with all those ducks. He had to put his focus onto them for whatever reason, grew apart from his wife, something something depression, then more ducks. My guesses are:

1. He's too deep in his "project" to notice the wife swap.
2. He noticed his wife growing distant, so he needed a distraction to absorb himself into.
3. Lilith was "acting different," and he was too much of a baby to confront her about it, so he didn't notice the change.
4. Charlie was growing closer to Lilith and was told to "back off," so he gave his fake wife space.
5. Lilith secretly hates him cuz achshully she is a bitch (classic female Vivzie writing), so there is a secret wife swap between Eve and Lilith because Eve can't put up with Incel Adam and wants Lucifurry instead.
6. Uses magic to change her looks so you "can't tell the difference".
7. Luci-Goosey knew/suspected all along but did nothing about it.

It's gonna be a tedious and predictable reason, I'm sure.

If Vivzie gives rubber duck lore in this series so God help me.

So far the only moment that comes close to "uncomfortable rawness" is Poison and even then I don't think it goes far enough since the song kinda takes away the overall seriousness of Angel being a fucktoy a bit.

Problem is that calling out kid/animal fucker would result in Vivzie calling out half the people making the show with her lol. If you ever have time, check out all the people in the credits of like, Helluva Boss for example. Most all are degen furfags in the "animation meme" community and the like. It would just result in more controversy, especially after she went hard on defending the one storyboard guy with a rape fetish.

Let’s be real: Viv never intended for her to be a fallen angel. She was just some Hispanic girl who died in 2014 in her 20s, and that’s it.

Vaggie is the character who has gone through the most changes out of everyone. First she was prostitute who was murdered in the 80s and was dating Angel Dust, then she became a lesbian, then she became Hispanic, then she died in the 2010's most likely from committing suicide, and now she's a fallen angel who was one of the exterminators. It would be interesting to make a timeline of all the changes Vaggie has gone through whether it be clothing, personality, and/or backstory.
