The funny thing about the Pilot VAs is that this is what happened to them:

A. They just continued their job as VAs and disassociated with Viv all together (Charlie, Nifty and Angel's VAs)
B. Just got cameos in Hazbin or got parts in Helluva Boss instead (Husk, Alastor, Vaggie, and Katie's VAs)
C. Completely self-destructed that they just had to get recast with 100% justification (Pentious and the Eggs VAs)

Also, what helped is that Pilot Charlie actually gave girl boss vibes and could back it up. Like, you can tell she wasn't super naive and maybe had plans for her ideas, hell she even told Alastor to pound gravel with his deal. Show Charlie? I'm sorry, this chick is like the most naive-i have no plan but it'll work somehow-idiot possible, fact she quickly accepted Alastors deal was already facepalming enough.
mainly how Charlie feels like she has a backbone more in the pilot and comes across as more proactive.
I still remember when Charlie told Alastor to his face that he’s sketchy as fuck, and used her inherent authority as princess to order him to help instead of making a deal. In the show proper? She can’t use that authority because it’d be meeeaaan. They seriously turned her into a damn child.
I liked it when she took Katie Killjoy's pen and called her a bitch. Really doing the whole "goodie two-shoes trying to do something bad" trope.

Speaking of, I do wonder if that was orignalliy going to be a running theme with Charlie. The reason why she snaps like that was because Katie said "How does it feel to be such a total failure?" Especially with the way that shot was frame. And when Charlie called mom and said "I think dad was right about me". I'm thinking that's what Pilot Lucifer said Charlie was; a total failure.

It would have been nice to see that in the actual show. Her having to constantly prove that just because she's essentially against Hell's culture norms, doesn't mean that she herself is a failure. And at the lowest of her lows, she can have all the people she affected positively in some way tell her that she didn't fail them. (Fucking corny yeah, but it would be some sort of character arc.)

I will repeat myself from earlier and man Lute is unintentionally sympathetic, not because of the main characters actions since they are right to be against her given her whole extermination job. But rather the fact Queen Retard of Heaven is comforted by Angel Stella in the leaks still grinds my gears.

Say Hell was perfectly right (which is what this show is going with), Lute really did nothing that bad given she was a soldier who was likely believing in the stuff Adam and Queen Retard said about Hell, and was just a cog in the extermination machine. Sure, she was too into killing people, but they are demons who are planning an uprising.

For real world context, its like if some world leader was comforted by God after invading another country for a long time after realizing they were wrong while the soldier carrying shit out on their orders is going through a downward spiral.

Fuck Sera, she is almost on the same level of hateable as Stolas.
What if this is all a Goetia conspiracy? As if the speaker want's to take over Heaven, which would be the reason why nobody cares to mention Adam.

C. Completely self-destructed that they just had to get recast with 100% justification (Pentious and the Eggs VAs)
I wonder what did he actually say?

Pilot Charlie was an outcast because she's basically the only person in Hell with a good moral compass, series Charlie is an outcast because half the time she acts like a damn child.

A damn child, who clearly has no idea how her whole redemption plan was supposed to work, just "it'll work out". The pilot version meanwhile DID admit her plan was a shot in the dark, and she'd have to figure things out since nobody did this before.

I miss the voice actress from the pilot to. I want a god damn explanation from Viv as to what her thought process was with this casting.
Katie Killjoy's recasting bothers me specifically because it's not just the voice being different, she's a completely different character now and the new one just blows compared to what we saw in the pilot. Bitch was onscreen for 5 minutes and she stole the show, this new one though? No one even cares.
he was a literal drug addict (I think it was crack? Correct me if I'm wrong)
What is that a crime? Is that wrong? Who hasn't done a bit of crack to unwind?

Huh, that looks like Jeffrey Dahmer in the pannel, for the pilot.
Apologies if late, but...yes, it's him. The only reason Charlie was able to get the interview in the pilot was because Jeffrey couldn't make it for his cannibal cooking segment (Katie Killjoy specifically says Jeffrey couldn't make it). Even if it had a bunch of flaws the pilot was charming in ways the actual show can never come close to replicating.

Viv is safe edgy, that joke was almost certainly from one of the writers that Viv dumped after the pilot and didn't bring over to Helluva Boss. it's why she went back and said how she doesn't want to associate any of the characters with real world events (Doesn't stop Pentious' backstory being tied to witnessing Jack the Ripper, so I guess that gets a pass for some reason.), such as how Baxter was originally going to have died on the Titanic.

For as much as she claims to like stuff like South Park, at least they have the guts to make an episode's C-plot be a parody of The Three Stooges using not just Jeffery Dahmer, but Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy too.

”Hey, hey, people. Sseth here.”

Have you ever wondered why Adam travels with a gaggle of harlots continuously by his side?

Have you ever wonder why our endless battle against hell always has... fresh reinforcements?

Well wonder no longer. Today I will be explaining why my father's polyamory is not permissible... but required

I think with Jack the Ripper is that he's almost a fictionalized character

As for the real life stuff I wonder if it was something Amazon wanted or Viv wanting to tone down those jokes so no one asks when Hitler will show up or something

Why can't Hitler show up and be receiving a fair and just punishment? Like in Looney Tunes when he gets beat up, or The Simpsons, when he can't unlock his car door in time to answer the phone.

This is the same Viv that had Blitzø calling Moxxie a retard in the pilot, only to reel that back in a later episode with Blitz saying he can't say that anymore. She desperately wants to be edgy, but knows that because of the current climate she can't do that anymore. Doesn't mean it doesn't slip though every once in a while. It's why we get a full episode on Angel Dust and his sexual abuse, only to get a rape joke on Sir Pentious two episodes later.

I wonder if he will show up as a cool wolf or a gay shark.
I will admit with a healthy amount of shame that when I was young and bright eyed with hope that this would be a good show, I did contemplate what the Axis leaders might look like in Hell.
I also had a WWII phase around that time, sue me.

Guess I may as well say now that I’d imagined Hitler being a wolf man. Not for furry reasons, but because he was really fond of wolves iirc. Hirohito and Tojo were eastern dragons, the former probably being more aquatic looking due to his marine biology interest. Did not really have anything in mind for Mussolini. Not super creative, but neither is Vivzie by this point.
