You know, I was thinking recently. With Stolas sleeping on the couch, is Blitz sleeping on the floor? Are they just doing it on the couch and hoping Loona doesn't suddenly come out of her room? Do they do it at work, in that crowded office? I know what you're thinking, but blame the show for giving us far too much information on their sex life. Now I can't help but wonder...

I could be entirely wrong, but I feel like the circus getting burned by accident was another fan concept that Viv grabbrd as S2 was being developed.

There is literally no indication in season 1 that Blitzo has a tragic backstory (or that he and Fizz actually know each other). But in season 2, they're leaning into it like fucking crazy so I'm tempted to agree.

Most we got I think is the ending S1 where Blitz looks tearful at the old photo of him, Barbie and their mother. Now, that doesn't indicate a tragic backstory, but does give one a hint that he had a family and something went down to split them apart (which could range from death or them parting on very ill terms), with Fizz most we got was the Fizzbot mocking Blitz. But again, the wording in that could range from Blitz blowing his chances of being a star, working a deadend job while he was outshined by Fizz and etc, but again NOTHING indicates a tragic backstory.

I would also love to know where/how Blitzo sexually assaulted Stolas. That's a hilarious thought. Why can't the Stolas fangirls accept that it's okay to like Stolas, even though he's the abuser in the relationship? A lot of people are like this, but Stolas fujos are the worst.Like the Val fangirls, most of them even admit that they think he's hot because he's a pimp and committed rape. Just accept, admit it.

And a take that would be hot on Twitter but not here: No, I don't think that Stolas was attractive. I'm not into anthro animals. But he looked better, and closer to "attractive", I hate how his eyes look in season 2. I hate how the pupils are so small, but the rest of eyes are so much bigger. I guess I'll give the show this. He now really looks like someone who cries a lot.

Not really that shocking, being anti-Stolitz can stem from several places. Ander there just hates Blitzo, likes Stolas, and thinks that Stolas is better off without him. On this thread, most of us think Stolas is absolute trash, and then are divided on Blitzo. Some view him as a victim, others think that he’s as garbage as Stolas and that they both should die, or for one guy, you see someone hope that they get together so they can be miserable in their hard fought union, where everything they actually care about is lost.

I think worse of Stolas than Blitzø because, even though Blitzø is marginally a worse person, he will get called out more than Stolas for his screw-ups. And will get called out for shit that's not his fault (this is mostly in relation to Stolas). Meanwhile Stolas is just never called out for his mistakes, and even when he is, the narrative will deliberately go out of it's way to give him excuses so it's not actually his fault or make the person who is calling him out be the one in the wrong.

There were some subtle hints sprinkled throughout Season 1 that Blitzø didn't have the greatest childhood. There's also the fact that imps are "supposedly" treated like shit because their one of the lowest rankings in Hell with no powers like any of the other species have. It's just because the show's writing is dog-shit and not very consistent that this isn't shown very well. The fact that The Circus episode wasn't a Blitzø backstory episode and instead a Stolas one because Viv wanted to retcon Stolas to "have loved Blitzø the first time he saw him as a child" is very much a waste. Out of the two, Blitzø very much has the more interesting backstory but no; instead let's spend time on two children playing that basically adds very little to the main plot and it's characters, and also waste time on very uncomfortable foreplay.

Though it could have been worse I suppose. Like Moxxie getting a rehash of what's probably Angel Dust's story because Viv just wanted to use an idea from her other show. Who cares if it destroys already established history of a character? We need more Italian mob aesthetics because it's what we're currently obsessed with now apparently.

I was going to “um ackshually” because he/she/it claimed to not like Stolas very much and claims to be an Octavia defender, but the hatred definitely seems to be more towards Blitz. Made the usual excuses for Stolas too.

Aaaaaaaaaand HB should have been set in another universe as HH, keep HB with their 7 deadly sins, Satan being the canon Lucifer in their world, no more hierachy with goetis and charlie's family that doesn't make any sense, no overlords bullshit, no angels that set extermination, just imps killing people from earth making trouble and have their own heaven stopping them or something with the cherubs, I can't believe Viv didn't come up with something so simple when she made her pilot and yet here we are. I'm just gonna put it out there that SA (sexual abuse) and sexual harassment are different. Not everything Blitz does is "abuse", holy shit. He's being sexy and horny and weird because that's the kind of person he's supposed to be - crass.

Um... no? There's clearly a playful (or intending to be playful) air to Stolas pet-naming Blitz in a crowd or, Blitz trying to turn a serious situation (fallout with his literal newest ex) into a "playful"/less serious one by trying to get him into bed.


Blitz as a person doesnt appreciate serious conversations if they're sprung on him without time to think - look at how their breakup pity-me Olympics went. Blitz is angry over having something as heavy as "oh look! I'm breaking up with you, here's a magic rock" (what he thinks is happening), said without prior warning. So, like with anything else he gets angry.

Stolas is the opposite. He's used to being shut down and screamed at so he turns vulnerable and defensive. To him, those tears are probably real; crying his eyes out like it means something. Ddeep down, he knows he's in control. "If they feel sorry for me they'll forgive me/I won't be hurt as badly" it's vulnerable narcissism(?).

I really hate that people actually believe that Stolas didn't cheat. Marriage is a contract that can't be voided unless by a spouse's death or another contract thats been made to counteract the first contract. Since neither option had happened, he has broken the contract of their marriage. It doesn't matter if the relationship was in the gutter at the time. Their marriage was still binding.

And fine. Stolas doesn't want to apologize to his wife for cheating on her. Whatever. Even if that would make him a slightly better person because it shows he does feel remorse for what he has done to her. Even if you believe she's a shitty person that deserved this, it would show that he's the bigger person here cause he knows doing something wrong to someone that has wronged him isn't the way to go about things.

But Octavia, who is the innocent party suffering here. The fact that Stolas still hasn't fully comprehend that his actions has negatively affected his daughter is beyond frustrating. And he probably will never because the show rather have him not be accountable for his own actions. The blame will be on someone else, as usual.

And yeah, I wouldn't be surprise if Viv decides that Stella cheated on Stolas before he did. Because Heaven forbid, this woman gets even the tiniest bit of sympathy from the audience.
