Do you believe that this series will turn to shit?

Helluva Boss kinda fascinates me. I really love it and it's one of the very few shows these days, that has LGBT representation in it without being incredibly hamfisted or being incredibly cringe.

So why aren't more media outlets praising it for being stunning and brave? Like, journalists usually eat this shit up.

I mean, there are several reason's I can think off that could or could not be the case.

One big one I believe is that Vivzie is an independent creator. A lot of these journo websites and media outlets probably get a check from a company that owns the thing they're writing about in order to generate a bit of buzz. This likely is done by a PR department which, as far as I know, Vivzie and her crew really don't have and if they do, I doubt they'd put money towards a shitty journo article when it could be going towards the shows production. If the fall gaming journalism taught me anything, it's that most journalist/ the people they work for don't really care about what they're writing about, all they care about is what gets them money.

Another is that an article about a gay demon show set in Hell just isn't "click-baity enough" to the people incharge who decide what articles get written. HH & HB on their own haven't really stirred up enough drama to warrant a click-baity article to be written about them, at least, not drama with the preferred subjects. So far not many right wing bible thumpers have made much of a stir about the show, only the hyper woke of Twitter, and these companies tend to avoid writing articles that might condemn the actions of those kinds of people.

Lastly, I guess it can just boil down to HB & HH being an adult cartoon, and as an adult cartoon, it can be a bit edgy, and some pansy out there might get offended and start crying that not only is HH & HB offensive, but so it the news site that published the article about it.

But in the end, it doesn't matter to much. Vivize and her crew have clearly proved they don't need the journo's help to get the show in the spotlight, word of mouth, proper planning, annd smart advertising on her end has done that on it's own, which is kind of impressive when you think about it.

I've seen a lot of people pretty pissed off that Viv didn't make the gay characters super obvious and actually wrote them like a character first instead of a prop. I second the thought that Vivzie might be able to hold out against the pressure, given that she enjoys more freedoms as an independent creator.

This was honestly one of the most beautiful and fluidly animated episode i've seen so far, yes some of the jokes felt a little dragged out, and the opening interrogation involving Blitz and Moxie felt like padding the acid trip being very cheesy and introspective didn't bother me so much because moxies personality fits with that kind of persona. Honestly I don't really see this the choppiness in the visuals you guys mention and the extended Matrix style fight scene with the team against the field agents blew me away with the level of intricate Ariel shots, fight choreography and sheer fluidity of the thing. Definitely felt like a season finale and honestly went with a bang, really loved what this series has become and I hope this gets more mainstream attention. It has far more promise than HH anyway.

I hope more and more people realize the "news" media is completely fake and useless and nobody actually needs them.

At first glance, Viv supporting the cancellation of the reboot (which is easily the most pants on head retarded hill animators chose to die on) is not only hypocritical but makes no sense. Vivzie is an indie animator, so the mainstream industry wouldn’t be as big as a concern for her.

But as google shows, Viv has worked closely with a guy named Nico Colaleo, a big animation lolcow and someone with direct ties to John K himself. With that in mind, her being against the R&S reboot makes slightly more sense.
Has Nico ever gotten called out from that or no?

>Can't stop being a cheating sodomite even for the sake of his daughter not being in the ruined family

Why shouldn't I be totally disgusted with him?

They have one and it's called A24, which not only has good relationships with the press, they have a bunch of stans. I have to wonder if they don't have a timeframe to get the show finished.

Stella only seems to care about her status as royalty and upholding a respectable public image. Not that Stolas is justified in cheating on her, because that’s a shitty thing to do regardless, but it’s beyond obvious that he’s stuck in an unhappy marriage. Not to mention he’s, y’know, a demon. He at least cares about Octavia, whereas we haven’t seen Stella show an ounce of love for her.

I really think she's pissed most not just that he's cheating on her, and not just that he's cheating on her with a dude, but that he's cheating on her with an IMP. And isn't even hiding it.

They dropped the singing voice of Alastor, Gabriel Brown, for some reason. Probably something business-related on A24's behalf, but he put a lot of passion into the role so it blows regardless. Poor guy must be crushed.

At this rate I won't be surprised if they replace anyone else, especially Stamper. But if they get any bright ideas about letting Bosco or Kovach go I'm gonna be fucking pissed.
