holy shit they hardly toned down anything on him. Fuck the prayers I hope there's a physical therapist on call for the poor bastards.

I disagree. Compare the redesign to the pilot design.

His tattoos are still all over the place over-exemplifying he's a card-dealing demon who despite claiming he lost the will to love years ago, has mostly hearts everywhere. There shouldn't be so many hearts to convey this symbolism though (and on his nose like a fucking care bear). Husker's design is a mess but at least he has potential character-wise.

I got it for you. They used to be stripes, now it's more hearts.

They're not wrong.
I still think his design is too busy.

Welp, we're almost there.

Being sad seems quite appropriate when you've ruined your marriage and relationship with your daughter over some imp tail that may not even reciprocate your feelings. Of course they'll make up by the second episode of season two but its the thought that counts.

However considering he's wearing the same uniform as the last episode, is that suggesting that the intended episode 8 finale was going to be 100% filler content?

Vivienne outright said as such in the update last month:

Fair enough.

Considering the "legal" issues she has been proclaiming have delayed the episode, I'm inclined to believe its either because she's using some popular song that needs copyright approval, or there is some kind of Hazbin Hotel crossover.

It's heavily implied that the "legal" issue was a cover of "Die Young". It's Viv's favorite song, and around the same time the episode 8 drama started, her "Die Young" video that was up for years, suddenly got taken down.

It's not solid proof, but it's the most likely situation.

Late to the party but our guy is trying to sell stuff to impressionable minors again

Well at least they've answered the age old question that keeps every Helluva Boss fan awake at night. What does Millie's sister have between their trans pants. Well the answer appears to be very self evident

Funny to see on the playmats the girl with the skimpiest bottoms is Stella.

Edit: Oh I like this one.

Did NO ONE on the team think there wouldn’t be issues with using a copyrighted song? Why would anyone start any animating without a green light from those that hold the copyright? Tell me I’m wrong and they aren’t this stupid.

It is unknown exactly what the legal issue is, it's just speculation at the moment.

If the speculation is fact, that would indeed have been truly silly. She'd had a very successful fan song that had been tolerated, but people get antsy when you start using their stuff in obviously commercial projects. If that guess is true, she really should have remembered that from the MLP fandom she was also part of.

If it is over that particular song, it isn't necessarily that dumb. It could be that they were actually negotiating for it and things unexpectedly went sour, like the other side suddenly found content in the show they didn't like, or started making outrageous demands.

Which is a sad fact about the industry in regards to copyright. Negotiations can be going swimmingly and with out issue. Then, BAM, someone throws a wrench into the works and the whole thing falls apart. Assuming that this is the case, it's entirely possible someone gave her the okay to use the song, then during production, someone higher up the corporate ladder said no, and ruined the whole thing.

Gave me a good laugh over how shit these "figures" are. A sticker on a piece of plexi propped up to look like some collectible figure. If you cannot afford to design, produce and sell fully 3D figurines just stick to stickers and pins.

Those plastic standee things aren’t that rare, actually. There’s plenty of anime/Vtuber/ect that have those specific types of merch.

They're not figures, they're standees. Standees and figures are two completely different things but sell well enough if the demand is there (and it is, they've been sold out before). Half the HH/HB roster would look horrendous in 3D anyway.
