I feel like people on both sides of this are really missing the point, and I said this in my earlier post, but AI voices ARE NOT the same as AI "art"

These artists and animators are basing the ethics of AI voices with their fears of AI "art", and when you put it like that: Oh no!!! Indie creators are using AI to voice their works, what next?? Big corporations? Oh the humanity!! Now art is truly dead and creativity is gone!

Trust, AI voices won't be replacing real people any time soon. If they want to fight the good fight they should make a list of companies who have fired artists and directors to replace them with AI (one comes to mind, Rayark recently fired 90% of their art team and generated AI images for their new character).

And ugh. Again with Viv's holier-than-thou attitude and that sass. Really reminds me of that time some Scottish TERF slighted a trans person on the internet and boomers and zoomers crossed paths for the first time.

So much of that arguing was JUST like this. "Oh bet he's a boomer who talks about the good ol days" or Viv's "lol cope harder" crap. Stop trying to impress your posse and engage in a debate without sass and using internet slang words. It's fucking embarrassing.

Remember the "she got kicked out" claims earlier?
I mean that's certainly one of them and when I see stuff like this I believe it more but i'm more referring to some more really unhinged behavior considering the type of people her show attracts and I wouldn't be surprised if she pisses off someone and they get a real vendetta against her and it could of been entirely avoided if she just kept her mouth shut.

already happened:
Soooo....during the Vivienne Twatter Tirades, an apparent Zoophobia fan spoke up about their...disgruntlement about Zoophobia discontinuing.

^an admittedly perfectly valid point.

Seeing as how Zoophobia is something Vivienne doesn't even make anymore, the smart thing would be to just ignore this dude screaming into the Twitter void right? But this is Vivienne Blabbermouth Medrano we're talking about here. Ofc she responded to him in her usual passive-aggressive way, using much of the same reasoning I actually posted in the "10-book-long" proof earlier.

First off, Vivienne, the fans wouldn't be so "toxic" if you actually made a coherent story that flowed better, something that you yourself admitted. Secondly, would it fucking kill you to shut your goddamn trap for five fucking minutes?

Because your pithy and clever little comment set him the fuck OFF.

They all deserve each other, tbh.

I can't reply directly to @Cassandra Clare, but I've been both on the giving and receiving end for voice acting. Now none of these were professional as these were for student works for school projects, so I never got paid (which was fine. I didn't expect to be.)
There's a lot that does go into voice acting, even in a indie/non-profit project. Most of the time you still have to audition; they might send you one character sample at a time or all at once. If you're accepted, then you'll get sent the script to record your lines. I don't have any special equipment so I had to re-record many of times to make sure there was no background noise and also just to make sure it sounded fine on my own end. This doesn't include if you have to do retakes. There was one project where I only had to record for once and that was it, but there was another I had to do countless re-recordings because the person wanted the voice done in a certain way. Also because I was sending the recordings over through emails, responses could take a day or two.

Now when I was looking for people to voice in my project, I had difficulties in just finding people. I didn't have money to spare to pay people, but I advertised around, and asked my friends if they could help. I should also note that I gave a month's timeline since that was when the project was due. Two weeks passed before I finally got some responses. I sent them some sample lines for auditioning and waited. I only got three people's auditions. I sent two of them scripts, as the third one was a minor and I just didn't feel comfortable with having them voice in something that was for a mature audience. I never got any recordings from the two of them, and when I asked for them because time was running short, only one responded saying they would get to it. They never did. Eventually, I had to do all the voices myself. While the project turned out fine, going back again, I would probably use AI voice.

While I agree that you should use voice actors whenever possible, I understand why this individual used AI voices for their project. It seems like they truly wanted to use actual voice actors (since a couple of the characters were done by actual people), but couldn't find/afford them for every character. And they're even now looking for people to redub it, so I don't see the big deal on using ai for a fun homage that was not made for profit.

Side note: Maybe it's just me, but if my voice was that iconic that it was used for someone's project for fun, I would feel honored. It's not like he was using the voice to say anything truly disrespectful.

"What? You CAN'T AFFORD bona-fide VA's for your funny/shitpost YouTube video?! Well, then YOU shouldn't be making YouTube videos -- you're not a real artist scrub!" :sighduck:

"What? You DON'T have an art education from *so-and-so*?! Well, then you AREN'T an artist and shouldn't be making stuff pretending to be one!" :sighduck:

...and that is why people hate artists and are pushing for "AI" to destroy these snobby tiny elite circle-jerks...

It's really hilarious that she's making such a big deal of respecting and promoting small-time VAs when she dumped those very same small VAs who helped Hazbin take off like a rocket for bigger-name union actors the second the show got approved by a studio, and how she's almost exclusively hired huge name actors- not even voice actors half the time!- to play major characters in Helluva Boss when those roles could have been the one that put an indie actor on the map. She talks all this lofty holier-than-thou talk but then never actually puts her money where her mouth is.

Yeah like supporting small voice actors is fine yet Viv really likes to have celebrity voice actors when she can, and hell it backfires on her.

She wants to make the celebrity VA voice a recurring character yet surprise surprise, the moment they are busy with something else, she has to replace them like with Norman Reedus. Hell I doubt Kesha would be able to reprise their role.

Like I can understand if she has to replace people for Hazbin due to contractual stuff. But with Helluva Boss there’s no excuse as it doesn’t have a bigger studio behind it.

30 years old, everyone.

Ignoring Viv's sperging for a second, here's a teaser I missed:

It really bothers me that Blitzo's flintlock does NOT work at all like a real flintlock with him firing it like a normal pistol and not needing to take at LEAST 30 seconds to reload it. Why does he just happen to have one, anyway, when Hell is this weird fantasy cyberpunk with sex robots and shit?

This woman just isn't going to shut her mouth until she pisses off the wrong person or people and something drastic happens, isn't she?
Whether those specific claims are true or not, she's definitely already been kicked out at some point and is salty as hell about it, or is about to get kicked off the entire thing any second now, because conducting yourself publically like this is one thing, publically talking shit and picking fights with people IN THE INDUSTRY YOU'RE IN, is just asking for trouble and all but certainly getting people to write you off for any future projects. All because she wants to pretend she gives a shit for anyone below her.

But they're really pretending Moxxie has a stash of musical instruments and not just the one Ukulele.
It's pretty much canon that he's a multi-instrumentalist and a composer.

It was ridiculous she got Norman Reedus even once. Seriously, it's not like she can expect Norman to put his schedule on hold for hers.

It's rich people bitching, telling povertyfags they have no place in art, it's just a place for the rich.

Even if I agree or disagree with her, the way she talks is so fucking annoying. "I mean like bro, I mean like, like it's totally not difficult bro, like totally, literally, literally, literally, lol like I mean bro, like bro, like bro, like I mean bro, like bro, like literally, like like like like like like like like like, like literally, like lol, like bro, bro bro bro."

Fuck me, women's rights were a mistake.

We've been talking a lot about Viv and while I'm sure we will continue to do so, I thought it be a good time to take a break off her shenanigans and look into one of her more..."interesting" fans.

He is a 25 year old man from Austrailia who has autism (that's what he says and I completely believe him). He also is the voice actor of Helldeath for Helluva Boss season 2 (that's what he says and I don't completely believe him lol). He has sent tweets to Viv about his character and voice clips, truly believing that she'll put him in Helluva Boss. (And yes, he has emailed her too.) He also really hates the mlg aiairborne.

At the moment he is trying to make sure everyone knows, especially Viv, that Helldeath is 100% heterosexual (and so is he), and that the people who claim that Helldeath is gay are framing him. He also wants to to assure everybody that he will be the voice of Helldeath, not Robert Downey Jr.

This guy sure is something else and I will definitely be posting about him on here from time to time now, but if you want to keeps tabs on him and check him out for yourself, here's all his social medias (As of posting this, his Twitter account is suspended. I guess spamming Viv with his character being in Helluva Boss might have been the cause):
