The guy who did animated rap battles on YouTube went broke paying an animator $50k to make an animated music video of Charlie kidnapping and (implied)raping him.

I'm sorry I cannot get over the fact that he paid 50,000 dollars to make a coom fantasy that lasts 3 minutes. I know animation is expensive but holy hell.

Maybe he had to pay so much because no artist would agree to make something like this for anything less?

Ase privately comissioned animator Steven Chase to produce a cartoon where his self insert would meet Charlie from Hazbin Hotel. While apparently starting off as a more lighthearted project intended to be released publicly, it soon became a venue for Ase's character to be chased and sexually assaulted by the cartoon demon. Not only did this video completely kill his cashcow series, Ase had spent 50,000 dollars in the production of this video, practically bankrupting himself.

Fifty thousand dollars for a three minute video of him getting tied to the bed by his waifu set to shitty music and there wasn't even any hardcore fucking in it.
This man just might be the biggest mark in the world.

Just watched the Monkey Wrench series that was posted in the thread earlier and it was decent. Better storytelling and character development than Hazbin and for the most part without relying on "le edgy swearing" as a crutch.
Found it difficult to get through the actual episodes as they were just too over the top for me personally.

During the credits at the end of MW episode 3 there was an interesting cost break down of the 30 minute episode. It cost a grand total of 54,000 USD (which is 41.66$/sec).
The AMV on the other hand is only 175 seconds long at a cost of 285$/sec. Not exactly good value for money.

Now one thing to take into consideration is that 60% of the episode's animation was done by the creator himself where as the AMV thing seems to have been completely farmed out.

Not really sure of what conclusions to draw from this apart from the AMV being a massive overpriced waste of money and costing the same as a 30 minute full fledged episode of an indie animation with a coherent story.

You know, it really is unintentional but the moment Viv had some of the sinners gain superpowers in Hell to be considered "Overlords" is the moment where the exterminations look more sympathetic especially in Helluva where there are shown materials that can bring people to the human world. So it is perfectly justifiable to kill these superpowered sinners, fuck it doesn't matter that the Angels are rich country club snobs, at least the residents of Heaven don't gain superpowers to go around killing people.

It makes me baffled why someone would pay $50K for animated porn. Like sure it looks nice I guess, but you could've gotten something equal value but way cheaper. At least whoever animated this got a nice payday.

Like that's enough money to fund an enitre salary, and if that amount of money was used for a 3 minute video, I would've expected the art style to be something more high quality.

Lord Bung ended up trooning out. The long anticipated next episode of Containment never released and what was complete of it ended up leaking. The only thing finished of the episode was a bizarre and fetishy AMV where the MC goes around naked though the facility and continually accidentally rapes people. After it leaked Lord Bung ragequit the Internet (or that might have been the impetus for the video leaking).
